  1. Hi! Just wondering for those who are in the program/finished if it is only 3 semesters or 4? Also did you feel it was less competitive to get into compared to the traditional RN program.. Thanks ?
  2. Did you ever end applying? I did the same thing I submitted my application but was waiting to retake the TEAS and couldn’t with everything going on. They actually just emailed me saying my application was missing items, I was surprised because I thought for sure it would be closed right now. I tried calling and leaving a message but no call back yet.
  3. Are they still accepting applications for the Fall?
  4. I was going to apply for the Fall but I just called to ask a few questions and the lady didn’t know when the summer session began.. does anyone know what month the summer session is? Also are unofficial transcripts ok until you receive an acceptance?
  5. Hi I also am applying for the fall.. I took the Teas back in December for another school, do you think I can still use the scores from that test date?
  6. Those who live on Long Island accepted into the accelerated program how long is your commute? Is the campus in Bronx or the city and do they hold any clinicals on the island?
  7. Those who got into the accelerated second degree program what is the GPA requirement?
  8. Do you know what TEAS score is required for acceptance and the pre-reqs? I couldn’t find the info on their website.
  9. I know I was too! I said I received proficient and tried asking if that was good and she said that it's basically like having a C .. then went on to tell me they have been receiving a lot of advanced scores and that we will find out in March.
  10. Yes same here, I think about 50 for everything else
  11. I also received proficient. I called today and they said they have been receiving a lot of "advanced" scores, so I'm worried the proficient won't be enough. What score do you guys have based on the other parts of the rubric?
  12. Oh ok ! I Wish they did
  13. Hey Kelly it is not offered over the summer ... I think maybe only dosage and calculations is. But you can only do one clinical at a a time in the fall and spring so it will still take the 2 years. I wish it was quicker for people who already had all the non nursing classes completed but I was told you can't move ahead, you have to stay within the sequence.
  14. That's weird there should have been an envelope and a little piece of paper in the packet that you need to sign and send with the check
  15. Congrats! It's two weeks from the date stated on your letter .. So you should have a little longer to mail in your deposit (the deposit slip should be in the packet you received) and once they receive it then that will hold your seat. If you want you can always hand deliver it too.
  16. Oh wow that's weird they waitlisted you!! Is it Ammerman or Grant? I think you still probably have a good chance of being called from the wait list .. Good luck !
  17. Sorry to hear that Nikki .. Do you have a 3.9 overall gpa or in the 4 prerequisites?
  18. Thank you ...Good luck I hope you get in too! TMD I have Facebook my name is Ashley Lima
  19. We were given only two weeks to send in a deposit and accept a seat.. I think they wait for some people to decline there seat and then they start calling people off the waitlist. Some people may be accepted to others schools and decide not to go to Suffolk so I'm sure you have a good chance. I know they also go by GPA of the four pre-reqs starting from 4.0 going down and they accept 120 people with the highest GPA's this is what I heard. My cumulative pre-req GPA was a 3.6 if that helps and I was accepted.
  20. Congrats everyone!!!! So happy and can't wait to meet you all ... For anyone who didn't get a letter today don't be discouraged, they may still be coming and they also still need to send out wait list letters
  21. Does anyone know if you just have to take the nursing classes are you able to finish faster than two years?
