I DID MY SEARCH.....AND AS I HAVE SAID ON MY PREVIOUS POST THERE ARE ONLY 4 STATES THAT DOESNT REQUIRE CGFNS.

JUST A FOLLOW UP TO MY PREVIOUS POST: IF YOU ARE A GREENCARD HOLDER HERE IN THE UNITED STATES YOU CAN TAKE NCLEX EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE IELTS, TSE, OR TOEFL.....AS LONG AS YOU HAVE YOUR VALID LOCAL NURSING LICENSE......I REPEAT.....LOCAL NURSING LICENSE IS A PRE-REQUISITE TO TAKE NCLEX...NO MATTER WHAT STATE AND NO MATTER WHAT TESTING SITE....

HI BANJ21 YOUR MOM IS RIGHT. SAIPAN IS JUST ONE OF THE TESTING SITES FOR NCLEX BUT IT DOESNT CHANGE THE REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE NCLEX. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS YOU CAN SEARCH THE INTERNET FOR THE REQUIREMENTS. I TOOK MY NCLEX LAST 2004 IN KENTUCKY UNDER THE CALIFORNIA NURSING BOARD...I WAS SUPPOSED TO APPLY FOR RECIPROCITY TO PRACTICE NURSING IN KENTUCKY BUT THE KENTUCKY BOARD IS ASKING ME TO TAKE CGFNS BECAUSE THAT IS ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE THEY CAN ISSUE ME A KENTUCKY NURSING LICENSE...TOO MUCH HASSLE I JUST DECIDED TO MOVE HERE IN CALIFORNIA AND WAS HAPPY WITH MY DECISSION BECAUSE CALIFORNIA IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST PAYING STATE FOR NURSES.... MY SUGGESTION IS.....SEARCH THE INTERNET AND CHECK THE STATE THAT DOESNT REQUIRE TOO MUCH EXAMS FOR FOREIGN GRAD NURSES...ANYWAYS YOU CAN ALWAYS APPLY HERE FOR RECIPROCITY ONCE YOU ALREADY PASS YOUR NCLEX.....GOODLUCK BANJ21

Hi banj21....I understand your frustrations....you are not alone....my brother also took that exam last june 11-12.....believe me or not i cant keep my finger off my computer keypads just to search for that result....i just got off from work and i hav'nt slept yet after my 12 long working hours in Emergency Room last night here in California.... I just cant imagine this torture on your part....To all june 11-12 nursing board examinees...Goodluck and God Bless you all.

Hi everyone! i made it...I PASSED! I tried calling the california board of nursing and was able to talk to the profesional licensing operator and i was told that i passed my NCLEX exam. the reason they cannot release my official result according to the person i talked to is theres a problem with my finger print card. But i was assured they are going to mail me the official result as soon as possible......at leat my long wait is over now!.... Many thanks to everybody who replied to my message....thanks for wishing me luck... best regards to everyone...:)

thanks begalli..... i did try visiting that website (almost every day actually) but no results yet until now... I just wonder if its ok for me to call them and inquire about my result. what do you think? Do you think it is good idea to call them?....By the way...i took my NCLEX exam in Kentucky but it is under the jurisdiction of California Board of Nursing...Do you think it has something to do with the delay in the release my my results? About your question....yes you are right i am making a change of profession....i finally decided to work as a nurse instead...the pressure of being a doctor is too much...i want to have a smooth transition this time....i am now planning to start my own family and my fiance is requesting i only work 2-3x a week...he wants me to devote my time to our future kids...which i agreed because my job right now is actually eating most of my time... best regards..

hi...i guess we are in the same situation right now...I took my NCLEX last (9/9/04) and until now im still waiting for my results....I have the same experience....my exam ended at item 75 though....my last question is easy but still i am not sure how i did in my exam... The questions i got were basically fundamentals...the more that i am worried cause it is already been a while since i graduated from nursing....im a doctor by the way thats why i guess i find the level of difficulty of the last question in my exam as easy because it was very familiar to me. I know the feeling.....the long wait is enough to kill you....Wish you all the luck..

hi everyone....im lani a BSN graduate at the same time an MD. I've been waiting for my california NCLEX-RN result for more than a month now and the long wait is already killing me.... anybody out there who can help me and give me some idea how long the california board of nursing release their NCLEX official results?....I already tried visiting the online verification but no results posted yet...the prolonged agony is really draining me....
