  1. well for george brown RPN I have already picked my courses and gotten my timetable, although my elective has not been placed on it yet.
  2. do you mean registered as in picked courses for the program or what?
  3. No problem, I was kinda in the same boat as you, I didn't think there was any chance I would get accepted with my marks and my pre-admission test marks. Just never give up, there is always hope. We would probably be in the same class hehe
  4. I wish I could help you , when did you apply for RPN at george brown? and did you already write the admission test? I would say your chances of getting admission are pretty low, as far as I know the the program is full and the tuition payment due date was november 4th, and course selection is on the 23rd, so your only hope is that someone does not pay for their tuition or if someone decides to drop out. good luck and I hope you get in.
  5. I kinda want to apply there but I just got accepted to george brown for RPN
  6. Do not fear, marks are not everything. I just got accepted to george brown for RPN today. My marks were horrible. Grade 12 English (67), Grade 12 Math (N/A) I did grade 11 math and got a 62%, Grade 12 Bio (60) and Grade 12 Chemistry (51), kinesiology(75) and grade 12 physics(75%) that leads me to an average of HORRIBLE. I actually came back for 1 semester in highschool to get some courses I was missing. I took grade 12 math, grade 12 bio, and kinesiology. I ended up getting a 60 in bio, and failing math, well I pretty much did not even show up for math, it was boring and I honestly just slept in class until I felt I did not want to go to class anymore, and I got a 75% in kinesiology(exercise science) I am guessing I did really well on the admission test even though I literally studied only the day before. I would imagine I only studied for like 6 hours, not even really. I only had around 3 hours of sleep before the exam. My essay for the exam I thought was horrible and I honestly thought I did horrible on the editing the sentences of an essay part. Somehow I got accepted with these horrible marks and with a what I thought to be horribly done test considering my lack of studying time and being out of school since january.

  8. The program is GENERAL ARTS AND SCIENCE - COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY TRANSFER to get into bachelor of nursing correct? I kinda want to apply for it
  9. So I wrote the pre-admission test at GBC for practical nursing yesterday, anyone know how long it takes for them to get the results and give you acceptance? Also how do they tell you what your final marks were on the test, and if so how?
  10. any idea what you scored on each section? also how many questions were on genetics specifically about genes and dominant and recessive genes and such? do I need to know mitosis/meisios?' you don't need to know the animal kingdoms, and plants and such right?
  11. Yes for GBC, I actually already saw that thread, however it is quite old and outdated I believe.
  12. So I have my pre-admission test tomorrow and I am really wondering what the questions are going to be like, the sample questions are way to easy, if anyone has taken the test this year could you please give me a run down of what to actually expect, also I want to know what course/admission test marks you got to get accepted, I am mostly concerned about genetics for bio, if anyone has any info feel free to share, If you want we can talk on msn too just leave your email! Thanks in advance. What else I would like to know: - How you found the test? - How long did you study? - What was covered in Bio? - Did you get accepted? Thanks again
  13. Hey, quick question what were your scores on the pre-admission test, and what were your course marks, also could you help me out, I really want to know what type of questions to expect on the test, are they even at all similiar to the sample questions on the site? I actually take my pre-admission test tommorow and I am really worried about bio, I want to know whether I need to study cell division such as mitosis/ meiosis and the whole recessive gene, basically genetics, if you have msn I would like to chat with you if you don't mind :) Thanks.
