  1. THank you Sally for this help. God bless!
  2. Every State is independent form each other's regulation. while Ca doesn't have CGFNS, its OWN way of processing credentials is equivalent to it. You cannot circumvent the rule. Just trying to explain.
  3. my opinion is every US State has its own way of evaluating your nursing credentials before you sit for NCLEx. California has no CGFNS but it has its own way of processing your application. One State's approval doesn't guarantee another State's approval. just sharing ...
  4. THanks for this info. Seeking license in another state may be a good step but endorsing license to Ca might be harder.
  5. Just delete this thread . Thanks
  6. Ok, after reading the threads of new BRN's requirements, are we from CA take nclex -rn here in CA for license in another state? remember we have 51 States hahaha. SInce we are legal US residents, do you know what state is easier to get a license that we can endorse into CA? hmmm
  7. Hi daffodile, are you planning to take the OB and med surg here? is is a redundancy of us being a BSN degree holder? OMG how much do we need to shell out? thanks
  8. Ok thanks for the info just beachy nurse.
  9. I cannot tell cheji. my performance evaluation stated "NEAR PASSING AVERAGE' all of it. So I am wondering if the BRN anlyst was just whimsical on his evaluation. Is it because I am Philippine educated? hmmm just wondering.
  10. UST. How about you sweet pea?
  11. Hi daffodille, I got the same letter today. I felt devastated. What did you do after? Please help me. Thanks.
  12. Hello RNs and Filipinos here in Ca! I failed NCLEX for the 4th time and my last scores were all NEAR passing. So I reapplied hoping that in a short time I will be a USRN. Today I got a letter from BRN stating I need to enroll in a US college to remove my deficiency in med surg and OB which my philippine shool is not competent at according to their evaluation. I got 3 years to take ana remove my deficiency before I could retake the NCLEX again. Oh my God! How can I enrol again if I dont have resources? What should I do? Do you have any options? please help me! Thanks so much!
  13. icetey: BRN sent me my eligibility already. All we international educated nurses just follow and complete their requirements and we will all be on or way to our goal of becoming a USRN. Goodluck!
  14. Hello Iam! Yes it was submitted before and I am surprised. He was a new BRN analyst different from the one who handled and gave me my past 3 eligibilities. I think they are just trying to delay giving us eligibility. Bu I dont worry, the lady at the counter told me my eligibility is on the mail already. Just comply and never get tired of reaching our dreams. Good luck!
