I am too a foreign grad of UPHR, Las Piñas campus.. Batch '09.. Just recently sent the boards of cali the additional requirements they asked me for my NCLEX-RN, clinical rotation etc.. I'll update you once the board replied.. How about you guys? Hows your application going? I have a bad feeling about mine tho, 'cuz the many posts that i'ved been reading the last few months here about getting denied by the board, a lot of our kababayans are having problems with their application, if worst comes to worst, my next option is new york, since i'm currently here in new jersey, just gotta wait another more months for the cgfns-cvs to evaluate my credentials plus the state board of new york itself.. Good luck schoolmates! Just keep aiming high!

@icetey: yes this is my third attempt, i was sad, devastated, and embarrassed for that but im definitely not giving up, it pushes me even more to pass it.. Im lucky that i have a very supportive family.. Goodluck to you too! We can do this! So you mean that because this is my 3rd attempt, they really do require me to send those again? I was kinda thinking of that reason too.. Kinda make sense but i just wish my school was a few miles away from my home, but i guess if they really want that, i just have to do it.. Ill just a few more days to talk to the evaluator about my situation.. Your probably fine icetey, dont worry 'coz its your first repeat/re-apply application.. @ iamfromstacatalina : hey kabayan! I was a batch '09 too! Man they're giving us a hard time.. I was reading some posts here too about that issue, some of them even said that they were told about some deficiencies and needed to go back to school for that deficiency.. I just hope that wont happen to us since we've taken it before.. I feel your worries, the evaluator is out till nov 28.. So i cant get to her till then which s*cks! Ill keep you posted, what your email? I cant pm here 'cause im a new user..

@ rodmarkq : no i didnt have my credentials evaluated by the CGFNS.. I took the CA BRN, they dont require it.. Yeah thats what i dont understand, i already sat for the NCLEX-RN and just wanted to give it shot again after studying even harder this time, why make me eligible before if i was lacking some of their requirements.. I failed it last sept, and im actually prepared now to take it again, then this mail came.. Giving me headache and loosing focus for the exam.. I hope this will be fixed soon and be eligible again.. Thank you silverdragon102.. I really hope so.. But the evaluator is on vacation, im really anxious to talk to her about my situation.. And this evaluator is a different person than my last evaluator.. Thats probably why its having some conflicts regarding my eligibility.. I guess this person didnt saw the requirements that i've sent them in the beginning.. I just hope they didnt lose my file or something.. Thanks for the reply.. :)

Just recieved that letter too after sending my repeat/re-apply application to Ca BRN... But did you guys took the nclex rn already like i did? Or first time taking it? Im pretty sure i did send everything that was stated on my letter when i first applied, they even asked for a copy of my passports, for my entry to the philippines and u.s. maybe to make sure i was really there or something.. They have everything, a copy my ssn, my us passport, even my re-entry permit that i used when still studying in the philippines.. I dunno why do i have to send all of that again.. Tried calling them earlier but keep getting voicemail when being transfered to an evaluator.. What should i explain to the evaluator? Do i really have to send it again 'coz i failed it? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

Ok so this is my second time reapplying to sit for nclex rn and instead of getting the eligibility letter i recieved a letter stating that i need to send them my clinical rotation etc., curiculum, etc.. from my school, and a copy of my ssn.. But i've sent all of it to them already when i first applied and i have taken the nclex rn twice already, yes i was devastated and sad about that but im definitely not giving up.. Then this letter came, now im really worried that i have to wait that long to try it again.. It took me almost a year to have my application completed and finally sit and take the nclex rn.. I graduated in the philippines 2009, and im currently here in the u.s. , so its gonna be hard for me to get those stuff at my school and let them send it to CA BRN, im gonna be honest my school sucks at giving those stuff especially if your not there in person.. Is there anybody out there that experienced this too? If so, can you please help me what to do or what to explain to the evaluator tomorrow when i call them? Please help me guys..

i know how you feel.. i recently just failed mine too.. and did everthing you just said.. but we can't do anything about it now, we just have to forget about it and give it time for us to move on and get back out there on our feet and study even harder.. we gave it our all, that's the most important part.. so you also deserve a congratulations for that.. time will come for us, just keep your eye on that goal and never give up.. lets just try again and do our best.. God knows we're trying our best to accomplish that goal and he will reward it to us soon.. hang in there.. just take it day by day and everything will be ok.. =) God bless and good luck! =)

its ok guys.. just keep your head up! you gave it everything you got.. i know exactly how you feel.. i recently just did the pvt trick and got the cc page, meaning i failed.. having the same feelings as you might be having right now.. lets just give it a few days to relax.. clear our minds and start going back to our study plans.. never give up and try again.. God is always at our side, he will help us get through this.. we'll be ok..

@sara urias its ok, i know exactly how you feel, i recently just did the pvt trick and sad to say i failed.. i've been studying hard everyday for 2 months before taking this nclex, i was answering those questions with confidence, critically thinking each questions.. i had a ton of priorities, sata and meds questions, thought i was doing great... but i guess its still not my time yet, time will come for us.. just keep your head up and don't ever ever give up, lets just try again and do our best next time.. just relax for a few days before going back to studying mode, we deserve it for working so hard and giving it our all.. clear your head first before going back to the drawing board for your study plan.. that's what i'm doing right now.. yes i'm disappointed, sad, tired, but we'll get over it sooner or later, i'm so blessed with an awesome family that keeps on supporting me, pushing and sticking by me everyday, and i know you have a wonderful family too.. so don't lose hope.. your not a failure, don't let this fail affect your goal, instead let it motivate you more.. God is always at our side.. he will guide us through this tough times.. we'll get there soon.. next thing you know we're there.. just take it day by day and everything will be ok.. =) God bless and good luck! =)

im taking mine tomorrow too! for nclex rn.. so excited / scared at the same time, my heart is pounding like crazy! haha! gotta stay focus and relax.. =) good luck guys!
