I got a job offer as a Charge nurse-Surgical ward, in Al ain, UAE, via nursing agent here in the UK, I am UK trained, however, the process is quite complicated than one might think:The following documents were requested to be submitted to HAAD, this is UAE health authority which process medical staff applications: >your certificate from recognized University here in the UK, >high school certifcate& >primary school certificate or subjects achieved, >Professional qualifications, preferably more than 4-5 years nurse experience, relevant to the post applied, >Continuous Professional Development evidence-base, through Certificate essential, including BLS or ALS >Nursing License with active Pin number.(NMC- here in the UK) >Skill log book, relevant to the post >Certificates of Service from both previous & current employers, mentioned on your CV. >5 passport size photos. >First 5 pages of your passport copies. >CRB form. >Self assessment skill log form from hospital applied. >Finally application fee of 620 local curreny, equivalent to £110.00 All these documents are scanned and uploaded via NEWHAAD application website and payment is made following successful completion of the HAAD form. Feed back is believed to take 30 to 60 days according to HAAD support team. I hope this helps.
