  1. Hi StatBlues, There are a couple ways..but I suggest going to the website for the State Board of Nursing for the state you plan to move to. Look for "endorsement" information and application, at least that's what I did when I moved. For Nevada, I was able to find out all the requirements and request the application online. Different states have different requirements, fees and timeframes. Hope I helped a little...AmyC
  2. VAT, I was going to say that I thought the first break is offered at 2 1/2 hrs, but I'm not for sure on that. I know exactly what you mean about the wait, I just had to go through it last week. It was absolutely horrible, I was so anxious and I only slept like 2 hours at night. For the 2 days of waiting I just felt like crying the whole time because I thought I had failed for sure. I was so happy to finally get my results that I did start crying out of sheer relief and happiness. Stay hopeful and positive and do something to try to take your mind off it for a while. Amy

  4. VAT, I think it offers breaks at certain times during the exam. I'm not sure of this , but maybe you hit that time and it had to offer it to you. Do you remember how long into the exam you were when it offered you the break? I passed mine at 75 questions and I really felt like I failed, so stay positive. I hope you get some good news soon. Amy

  6. Congratulations RNKitty! I'm so happy for all of us, we did it!!! :balloons:
  7. Congratulations Great Scott! I just checked the website and I passed too! I can't describe how awesome I feel right now! What a relief, I have had a rough couple of days, and now that horrible feeling is finally gone. I hope you get the same news RNKitty. To future testers- even though afterwards you feel like you may have failed, don't give up hope :balloons: because you may have passed!
  8. Well, I am just feeling miserable. Mine shut off at 75 and it just didn't feel good at all. I had calculations(which I thought were too easy also) and a couple of the check all that apply questions. It just seemed like I did horribly because I would get a question that I felt I had to guess at and then it would give me super easy question.I also feel like I got the last few questions right, but who knows if that means anything, they may have just been below the competency level. I wish I would have gotten 78 instead of 75, I would feel a little better right now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us and trying to be hopeful and positive. Today is going to be a long day......
  9. Wow,Great Scott you are scheduled for the 19th too? I knew I answered this post for a reason. RN Kitty you are on the 2Oth? Well, we will all definitely have to post to see how we all did. I'm trying to get in as much studying as I can the next week or so and then I 'll let up a little the 2 days before to ease my nerves a little. It's very important to go in there relaxed and confident so that our nerves don't get the best of us. Good luck!
  10. I know how you are feeling Great Scott! I have been getting about the same percentages as you on the practice CD's. I am scheduled to take the NCLEX on the 19th of this month, like 10 days from now. A friend of mine studied the same practice CDs and was also getting from 50-75%, and he passed. Hopefully we can too. I studied a lot and that's all we can do right? Well good luck to ya.
