  1. Thank you sooo much this is exactly what I needed Im not even worried about the credits transferring I just want to learn the Info so it doesn't come back to haunt me on the NCLEX
  2. they tell us that they integrate the pharm into our classes which they do...but i still feel very under prepared... so I just want to do this for my own good.. they are now offering one for our Generic BSN group but I am in the AASN so they dont like us taking up spots in it
  3. Im looking for a pharm class that I can take online, I am already in nursing school but my course plan doesn't offer a pharm class. I would really like to take one just for my own benefit to help with NCLEX and just my personal understanding of meds. I am having a lot of trouble finding a school that will let me take the class, offers it online, and wont require me to be on like a course plan, I live in TX so in state would be great for financial aid purpose but I am willing to look in to online schools based out of state if need be I just really think it would help me. thank you so much
  4. Thank you!
  5. I am still a student, but travel nursing is something I have been interested in sense before I had been accepted to nursing school. I understand that you have to have at least a years worth of experience in the department you would like to work in, currently I am thinking ER. What i was wondering is what is travel nursing really like? because all the web-sites tell you how great everything is and I get that is to try and convince people to do It but I want someone is had done or is doing travel nursing opinion. I ER a good department to be a travel nurse in? Just looking at my options Thanks for any help :)
  6. Do the reading, Its taught as a summer session at my school so i don't know if its any harder drawn out over a year, but this class was my first experience with ATI test and they killed me. I still passed the class but they are very NCLEX styled questions, so if u haven't really tested with them before try and find some practice ones. So I guess it boils down to the person taking the class but the general word of mouth between my whole class was it was hard.
  7. keep it and save it, the same thing happens to me and I use it to pay for health insurance that the school requires, supplies, books..ect... but always have some in savings with the economy how it is you can never be sure that you will get as much from year to year and its better to be safe then sorry
