I just got my acceptance letter to start Quincy Colleges ADN program this fall. I also got accepted to Northeastern's BS in Health Management program which will only take 18 months. I'm so confused about what to do. I know they're both completely different options, but I'm worried about not being able to work while doing the ADN and spending 2 more years to get another AS degree and then having to do more school to get my BSN. Anyone have any advice?

Thank you! Quincy does have a good program I just got my AS there, but I'm hoping to be able to just get my BSN, but I know I can always do a RN-BSN if I need to.

I applied to curry college and i think i might apply to the Quincy college ADN as well. I know i won't hear anything from Curry till at least May. So more waiting for me.....

I got a rejection letter yesterday :-( good luck to everyone else tho.

I just called and they told me my application was in it's final review and my letter should go out in a week or so.....I hopefully I'll know soon!

Who did you call? You're admissions counselor or just admissions in general?

That's good, I think if you don't request one they only automatically do them for accepted students. I still haven't heard anything. I emailed my admissions counselor this morning so hopefully I can get some confirmation of when I'll know.

I haven't heard anything yet either. I did a transfer credit evaluation and i had all their graduation requirements met and i think they took 80 of my credits. I think I'm going to e mail my admissions counselor tomorrow to ask if she knows a timeline for decisions. This wait is killing me!

I applied to the 2 year program. I've had everything in since November and this wait is making crazy!

Mine still says under review for completion as well and my admissions counselor also told me my file was complete.

I interviewed over the summer. It was more so you could ask them questions and they could get to know you better. I didn't take the TEAS, but they took my SAT scores because they don't expire. She said they look for over 500 for math and I have a 530 so I didn't needed to take theTEAS. My gpa from the first time I went to college 10 years ago was terrible like a 1.97. I just graduated from Quincy College with my AS in Natural Science with a 3.97 cumulative and 4.0 prereq gpa. They told me they weigh more recent course work more than older and your personal statement is really important if you had not so great grades in the past.

I know....I wish I could find out right now. I applied for the 2 year because I only have an Associates now. In your application does it still say that your file is under review for completion?

Hi, I've also applied to the Simmons Dix scholars program. They are just waiting to receive my updated transcript from my last semester of school, which is on it's way there. I hope I don't have to wait too long to find out as I've had all my other stuff in since November. Did you apply to the 2 year or ABSN program?

Hi, I just had my first A&P1 exam on Tuesday and got it back yesterday. We skipped cells and chemistry, too. So it was on basic anatomy, histology and the epidermis. I got a 146/150, which is a 97.3%!!!!! Congratulations to the person who got the highest grade in the class, I did as well.
