* I have taken my first test on Mon it was alright. it was on chap 1-5 he gave answers too 40% of the test on review sheets and 10% we had to know.. I have them saved on my computer if you would like me to email them to you maybe they can help you out with studying. I find that using a recorder in class doesn't help much imo its best to just take notes on whats important.there is also a website where you can be able to use virtual flash cards and you can also view other people flash cards and use them to study...website is quizlet.com-Hope that helps

Hello nevergiveup. Im taking professor **** on Mon /Wed hes a good professor as well. I enjoyed his lectures and lab so far. So that's defiantly a plus. Im glad to know there is someone on here that goes to Edison that is taking up Micro at the same time .

I Started My Micro yesterday. The teacher seems pretty cool and he seems like he is willing to help you out. we are going to be doing our first lab tomorrow by testing the bacteria in the air,off of our shoes,desks ,purses etc. The lab seems pretty cool so ill let u guys know how it went after class.

im taking a physics class as well im really nervous about this class i feel as though its going to be very hard. do you have any insight on this class.

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone will be taking Microbiology in the spring..if so I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for the new yr for this particular class. I figured that we can all be able to post questions and answers here regarding the class or just to talk about anything regarding micro. I will be starting my Micro class on tuesday im going to edison state college in fort myers fl. Im very excited and also a little nervous to be starting school after a semester break. * I look forward to see who else will be starting micro this spring and I hope we can all be able to help each other out throughout the semester

Did you have any problems trying to enter into the nursing program? or did they tell you, you will not be able to enter the prgram because of the repeats?

* I am blaming the teacher for the second time around because Numerous of students took her class got high scores on test and they still came out with a D. I tried taking it up with the dean but I didnt have much luck there. I am trying to get into the RN program.

*Hmph that's a good way to think of it. its just hard to do it that way I know im suppose to use my knees but I end up bending more of my back in the process

Now heres my problem I have taken A&P twice already and scored a D both times, The first time I took the class I was really struggling and the second time I took the class with the same professor I did much much better but she still Gave me a D. I tried speaking with her about the grade and she refused to change the score . Now heres my problem I dunno where I stand with trying to get into a nursing program whether I stay here in ft.myers but Im really stressed because I feel like I dunno if other schools will even look at my application because of the fact I have taken A&P twice already. I'm truly clueless at what I should do, and if its hopeless for me to even try to apply to the nursing program or even another school with the repeats in A&P. Any advice will be helpful Thanks

Hello, im working as a HHA and Im having a little bit of trouble with assisting my client from the bed to the wheelchair . Im using a gait belt but I still find that its very difficult to do so, when I come home my back is in pain. does anyone know any websites that can teach me the proper technique. or any advice that I can use when transferring?

Wow that's really ridiculous because I was looking to get my cna but that is truly a turn off with the pay. I dunno how I can be able to survive off of the amount that. How are people surviving?

Hello, So I was recently speaking with a cna that has been working for a nursing home for about a yr here in Fort Myers fl. she told me that she was only making $8.64 a hr. Is that the normal pay rate for a cna here in fl? or does it vary on the city. Im hoping that is not the pay everywhere in fl because that is very discouraging and I couldn't possibly know how I can survive with such low pay.

Is it easier to get into that program instead? I would defiantly like to purchase that book from you if you still have it.

That's very encouraging too know you passed. Right now I'm a HHA. And I would like to challenge the state to take the cna test. Where did u purchase your book from? Or did u borrow it from your local library?

I am also trying to enter into the Lpn program in fort Myers. I am looking for study guides that can help me with the pax test but I was unable to find any.I am also looking for advice from anyone who has already been accepted into the program from HTC.

I went to my local library and they do not have it. They won't have it until 4weeks from now. I borrowed the Nclex-Rn instead would that help me?
