  1. My Nursing course requires white nursing shoes or white soft sole tennis shoes .... Any recommendations?
  2. Thanks for the congrats! And I like the "studying the WHY and not just the WHAT" point, its very true and I need not to forget that.
  3. I am in the same boat! I have looked all over - not many options at my school. I think I am about to go to a street corner and see who will pay me to get off LOL
  4. I start in the fall and I am so excited! I have read many forums on here and come to this site almost everyday. I keep seeing that it was hard for most and some just loved nursing school. But I am interested into more of WHY was it "hard" for you... Is it that you had to hold down and job and school? Kids? Where the test mostly What is something rather than multiple choice or matching? Was it the Math? Too time consuming? see my point? I know it is a lot of information in a short time, so a lot of studying will be my life. But what made it hard for you? LOL Yes, I am a newbie and I am sure you are thinking, Ah she will see! I just want to be more prepared! I am ready and wanting my two years to pass by quickly :-)
  5. Dont be to hard on me LOL I am a new PN (lvn) student ... So what does PVT mean exactly?
  6. I am not in Mass. But let me say, I will take a B! I passed with a 89.56 .... Devastating, I wanted that A so bad lol But I have seen many people struggle with A&P - so I would be and am happy with my B.
  7. I was wandering the same thing - since MOST nursing schools rather you not work. I just got accepted and will start in the fall. My thing is that I will be paying for school 100% out of pocket ... I have a full time job now that I work days .. In the fall I will go to evenings .... I was even thinking about getting an overnight job too. I think it is possible ... I am thinking about recording my classes so when I am driving, back and forth from school, work and taking my kid to school and games, I can listen to the lectures so I am not wasting any sec.
  8. Yay!!! I got accepted into Nursing school my first try :-) I start this fall, but was wandering how soon should I be looking for that new job? I definetly will not be living in the same place after school. Lets just say I moved to a place no one would want to, with a family any way, for a better chance of getting in. I will be 40 when a graduate, so no time to be wasting :-)
