  1. Hello Kevbo0 I messaged you back. :)
  2. :balloons: Once again, CONGRATS!!!!!:balloons:
  3. I live in San Francisco. I think that not everyone gets the result at the same time. Have faith! I will pray for you. I have a friend who did not get all the paperworks in or there was a mistake on the paperworks and it took her a month to get the result. Maybe you could call them and find out if there is any problem.
  4. Thank you!! Thank you!!! Thanks everyone!!!! :)
  5. i am in california. i took kaplan after i failed the first one. i used their strategy book that i bought from border's. that book was very helpful. it showed me exactly how to rephrase the questions. i heard that "springhouse 3000 nclex questions" was good. i hope this helps. i know that it is hard to face the exam again, but you have to do it. you completed nursing school and that was hard. you shouldn't give up. it took me a while to get myself to have enough courage to do it again. the end result is worth it!! hang in there.
  6. I went on the website to find out. http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800 I couldn't believe that it took so fast for them to post it. It took about 4 days only! I thought that it would take about two weeks for them to post it if i did pass it. I have been checking everyday...and to my surprise, I passed it.
  7. I went on the website. http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800 You just need to type in your name and if you passed, your name will appear. The hardest thing is waiting. It took about 4 days for me. It took my friend two weeks to find out. Best of luck when you take it.
  8. I PASSED!!!! I am so happy. I finally passed it on the second time!!! I thought I did worse, but I didn't!!! So people who are taking it more than once, have faith. If I could do it, you could too. Thank you for your prayers and support. Many thanks!!!
  9. Hey everyone, I PASSED!!!! I just found out today!!!!!!!! I am so relieved. I still cannot believe it!!!!! Thank you everyone for your prayers and support!!!
  10. i am in california, but i am not working now. before taking the first exam, i had a job lined up for me. unfortunately, when i didn't pass, i had to give up the job. so right now i am not working. i wonder how long it takes for the results to be posted on the website.
  11. thanks! this is my second time waiting. i didn't pass it on the first try. i really hope that my name will pop up soon. it has not been a week yet and it feels like i am waiting for a month already.
  12. congrats!!!! :balloons:
  13. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has taken the NCLEX from California recently. I just want to know the approximate time they will post the result on the BON website if you passed. Too bad CA does not participate in the quick results. I am a bit anxious.
  14. thanks everyone!!! :)
  15. Hello, I just want to talk about my experience to vent a little. This is my second time taking the exam. The first time, I got 184 questions and I used up the full 5 hours!!! This time, I got 75 questions. I felt that I did worse this time. I got the so many easy questions wrong. They weren't even analysis/critical thinking questions. I know that I got them wrong because I looked them up after the exam. I really don't want to fail again. I have been out of school for about 7 months now and I am still not working as an RN yet. Almost everyone passed it in my class the first time (except for me and another person, she passed it on her second try). I don't want to have to take it again for the third time. After failing the first one, I took Kaplan and I also have their strategy book (you can purchase it from Borders). I thought that I would be prepared this time around. I thought that I was not too nervous either. But the questions were so hard. They seemed impossible to answer. I don't know what else I can do if I don't pass it this time. I feel like I am wasting my life waiting for another 91 days. But on a good note, I can say that I am glad that I didn't pass it for the first time. Weird huh? Well, it is because before the first exam, I was hired for a RN job. When I found out the I failed it, I told the nurse manager on the unit of my result. She was very unsympathetic and cold to me. She told me to apply to other units when I pass the Board, which means, DON'T APPLY HERE AGAIN! So, I felt that it was good that I didn't pass. I wouldn't want to work in the unit with such a mean nurse manager anyways. I thought that it was a blessing in disguise. But who knows? If I don't pass this time, I guess it might also be another blessing. I will continue to have faith and keep praying. I will accept what God gives me. Thank you for reading. I feel much better now. I will post my result when I find out. Please also pray for me.
  16. Lefthander1975, I took up the whole 5 hours!!!! I only went up to 170-180 questions. I am not THAT slow of a test-taker, but I don't know how that happened. It didn't even seemed like I was sitting there for 5 whole hours. It felt more like 1 hour! I never would have imagined that I would take up the max time. So I am a bit scared. But all I can do now is hope. I am starting on Monday, but I cannot continue after the orientation because I do not have a license to take care of patients. I too am sad that it will be taken away from me. But we have to think positive. Everything happens for a reason and things may seem bad now, but God has a better plan for us. We have to have faith! Stay strong!!!
  17. Hello, I am also waiting for my result and I took it in California. I took it on the 22nd of September (just a little before you). I have been trying so hard to stay positive, but I do fall into a slump at times. My husband has been very supportive even though I am cranky in the morning because the first thing I do is to check for my name at the BON website and found out that I was not on there yet. I guess as long as we did not receive the letter saying that we did not, then there is still a chance that we might have passed. I am praying for you too.
  18. What is the number to call for checking to see if all of my papers are in? I called a number on the website and when it was connecting me to speak to an operator, but it didn't connect properly. Thank you.
  19. Lefthander1975, I am also waiting anxiously for my result. I am curious when did you take the NCLEX? I took it on September 22. Too bad we do not have the option to pay for the result in 48 hours! vbmenu_register("postmenu_915281", true);
