  1. Did you obtain your foot care certification?
  2. Thanks! H.W. is the course I planned to take. Do you state that you have a RN license under your business name? Also, do you work with clients who have poor circulation?
  3. Hello! I am very mich interested in starting a foot care business. I have done a ton of research and have a hard time finding a clear cut answer as to if I am legally able to operate as a independent RN providing foot care without a provider in my state of SC. I contacted the Board of Nursing and spoke with an advisor who states I need to operate under a MD or PA or perhaps obtain nail tech license. ? I have obtained the SCBON Advisory opinion on foot care. They state 3 levels of care and it doesn't mention a MD or APRN until level 3 when impaired function and circulation is mentioned. I really want to begin my entrepreneurial journey however I want a safe practice and NOT a lawsuit. Any advice?
  4. Has anyone worked in the Charlotte, NC area as a travel RN? What agencies did you go through? What was the starting pay?
  5. Hello Everyone, I will be starting the Jan 2012 cohort at UofD. Graduated from MSU back in 2006, now it feels like it took me an eternity to finish pre-req's, maintain a full-time job and raise a 3 year old and finally get started in my nursing program. just wanted to greet and meet all those out there who will be attending the Jan 2012 cohort. What are some things you guys are doing in preparation of starting the program?
