Starting CNA
I have 1 week of class and one week of clinicals left and I'm finished.(94% lowest grade thus far) just completed my b session college classes (4.0) and have 3 weeks of c session left...can't say this summer has been easy, but if it gets me out of the dead end job I have now the headache will be well worth it. But a bit more sleep would be nice...

CNA Resume - How's This Look?
Looks good. Just give it a pretty layout and your set.

CNA Resume - How's This Look?
Not a cna yet, but from a restaurant supervisory standpoint, 1 page maximum. After all its a CNA job, not grad level employment.

Starting CNA
Day 3 today...a test everyday is kinda working my nerves. So far I have a good grade, but bomb 2 and your out... wow.

Starting CNA
Ya using this certification to get a job while I finish school is my ultimate goal. Plus I hear/read its nice to work as a cna before you try to get an RN job.

Starting CNA
Well I'm a little nervous as my CNA class starts in an hour and a half. For the next five weeks ill have that, college course work, and a full time job that includes a douchy boss. Wish me luck

Ages of male nursing students?
I'm 27 and starting back to school for my RN. Right now I manage a restaurant, am taking math 1111 and sct 100, I also start the CNA program in two weeks. I figure with my CNA I can get into the field while I'm in school to get a leg up with job experience. Besides my boss keeps cutting my pay and as of oct 1st I'll loose my health ins. Figure now is as good a time as any for a change. NW GA

CNA>RN. Is that right for me?
Hi, I stumbled across this site and wanted to ask a few questions, but you need my background first. I'm a married 27 year old male, who currently works 40-45 hours as a restaurant manager. I'm paid 11.50/hr and am about to receive my 3rd pay cut I'm a row do to a struggling economy. I just started college with hopes to become an RN. If I stay at my current job the company has a potential to tank completely. My current plan is withdraw from school until spring, go to CNA school starting sept 17th, find a CNA job by Jan 2012 and start back to school then. This would get me into the field to build experience and provide stable yet meager income for my family. My question then would be living in NW GA do you believe that I am making the right choice? If I were to do this I would start my RN clinicals spring of 2013. Opinions/feedback appreciated. Jason
