  1. Hi, are there any travel companies that work in the MSP area? Any travelers on assignment there? Thanks!!
  2. start at Patthy Hanks in Abilene aug. 21? Im STOKED!!!!!! ive never been so excited for school to start, i was ready for the semester the first week after spring finals! it'll be great! good luck to everyone.
  3. OH!! This is what helps get me through those tuff study sessions..... -600rr -metrakit track bike -cagiva mito, italian import -months spent on foreign soil soaking up the sun -retirement
  4. Wow, thanks for all the responses. I am planning on getting a sportbike. I didn't star this thread to try and convince myself not to get one. I absoluty love motorcycles, but my parents are dead set against them. Ive read as many statistics as i can get a hold of, As one poster said, most of the deaths are from inexperienced riders, who are often drunk, and not wearing helmets. When i drive my car, it' not my driving im worried about, its all the other people who may not be paying attention and hit ME that worries me. on a bike though, you probably wouldnt get a second chance after being hit. So, I think i may get a sprt bike for track use only, then there's no cars coming out of no where to get ya. Thanks again for all your thoughts, GO MotoGP !!!! Rossi needs someone to challenge him next season, Oh, so are there many tracks in oregon where you can ride?
  5. Hi, I would really appreciate it if anyone could share stories of motorcycle accidents, Im thinking of getting a motorcycle, but might reconsider. Thanks
  6. at the BSN program i hope to get into next fall, finishing the pre reqs this spring, There are 150 students, ten are guys. thats 15 to 1. i dont know about you but that sounds pretty nice to me. My freinds are usually envious after i tell them that. haha
  7. Hi, im sorry if that word's spelling is terribly wrong, but i hope yuo know what im talking about. anyway. Last thursday, my father was feeling sick and went to the E.R. He had a bad head ache, his vision was blurry, he felt fatigued. They couldn't find anything wrong with him so they sent him home. Well, on Saturday, He can hardly sit up in bed, has particly no strength ( he had spent a week in England just 10 days earlier backpacking with my brother, he's 50, but is very fit) so no strength, his speech is terribly slurred, he can hardly see. A freind takes him to the E.R. where they do an MRI but they dont see anything. So he sees a neurologist (sorry bout the spelling) and is diagnost with Botulism (sp?) He has since spent a few days in the ICU and is now out of that, though he can not drink as drops of liquid get into his lungs, i heard he may have to have a feeding tube for a long period of time, and that the rehab will take a long time. So, if you could please tell me, -What is Botulism? -how can a very healthy guy get to such a terrible state so quickly? -how long will it take him to get over this? please share any thoughts that would make it easier for me, my brother and my sisters to understand what is happening to him, and what to expect. Thank you all so much for any information or prayers you could give, thanks Will

  10. HI, im wondering if you would let your kid get a motorcycle if they wanted. my grandfather was a physician and would not let my mother or her sisters ride motorcycles. so Im wondering if this had to do with the number of motorcycle related deaths/carnage he had seen. Do you see many motorcycle related accident victims? thanks
