today i received a card from the admissions office. a holiday card.... i wish it was more of an envelope that says "YOU'RE IN!" ... but i guess it's better than "you're out" haha

wow... no news... so then next week? or is this going to drag on until january?! i just wish they'll just accept everyone that's left. it's true torture for the rest of us that's been waiting since november... especially if we handed in everything before october 1st. :/

Hey Electric, I had everything in by Oct 1st and I'm still waiting as well. Last week, I realized my transcripts weren't checked on Albert so I emailed them and found out that they didn't have my transcripts. So I had to resend them except they haven't received it yet... I hope this doesn't affect their decision because it was on their end when I mailed everything in one large envelope and somehow they got everything but my transcripts...

@faces, did you join the group on facebook? someone mentioned that they got an email about scholarship at 4am today! so, i'm assuming they are working on the accepted students first, and then get back on us?

i feel like we won't hear back this week since we got the holiday. next week is beginning of december already! in a way, time is going by quickly... but hopefully we get something before the 3rd week of december!

@laura: i'm assuming it's somewhere but they just can't find it.

ok, they asked that i send the transcripts again. hopefully going through all this will be worth it...

@laura: i applied by Oct 1st too. so if you're missing documents, they are allowing you to send them in? i'm wondering if i should just send my transcripts again.

@Captain: sorry to hear. i think i might be denied too because i emailed them today and they're saying that they didn't receive my transcripts but received my rec letters... which were sent together in an envelope? i don't understand. so did anyone else hear back today?

no, i haven't done anything yet. i'm too anxious to call or email. i just want to wait patiently for now... and later when i get impatient, maybe i'll email them. haha

i turned in my app by Oct 1st for the priority due date.

haha faces, at least you know you got accepted! i'm losing my mind not knowing whether or not i got accepted!!! it's like i want to know asap, but then... i'm hoping i got accepted and not rejected! :smackingf

it seems like people that are accepted are hearing back on thursdays... the 3rd and the 10th... i'm assuming that the next accepted applicants will hear back on thursday the 17th. cross your fingers!!!

wow! congrats everyone that got accepted!! i am totally jealous of the fact that you guys dont have to stress yourselves out anymore haha now that you guys mention it, im checking my email and albert frequently!! i hope we all hear back soon!!!

Hey everyone, I am a noob to this website. Just joined it and making my first reply. I am taking my prereqs right now, will be done by the end of this year. I'm currently looking into Accelerated BSN programs as well. So far, I'm looking into NYU and MCPHS for Spring '12 which starts in January. I am hoping I can get accepted because I'm thrilled to begin learning! However, my gpa for my undegrad isn't impressive (2.5) went through a lot during my undergrad and I couldn't prioritize due to emotional instability. I hope my prereq grades can help me a bit. So far, I have A and B for Microbio lecture and lab, A for A&P 1 and 2, hopefully get an A for nutrition, and B for chem. I applied to Simmons College last semester, but didn't get in. So, I'm crossing my fingers that somehow there will be a miracle b/c I'm so eager to get started in a nursing program!
