  1. Hi Adorno2015: I hope to start the program in fall. Next week I'm going to take the test to see what classes of English and Spanish I have to take. I'm going to let you know if I'm going to start in fall. Good luck with your classes.
  2. Hi adorno2015: I don't have nothing completed yet only the pre-reqs (Anatomy, Microbiology, etc). I already talked with an advisor a she told me that I have to repeat only the languages (English and Spanish) and I start the nursing program at Ana G. Mendez. I have an associate from UPR and other AA from Valencia but they don't transfer any language classes. I really like the idea to take classes bilingual. You took already the first 3 classes of the program, how you did? Thanks for your info.
  3. Hi Adorno2015: I bought all the books for nursing 1 and the books are really helpful. The bad thing is the nursing program is really difficult for me. The school only give you 1 opportunity to fail any of the semesters of the program and they kick you out. They don't count if you are good in the checkouts only they care about the tests. They give you 15-20 chapters to read and you expect only 55 questions in the test that have 180 points. To pass the test and the program you need more than 77%. All the tests are Critical thinking. I think that sometimes I don't understand the question and that's why I choose the wrong answer. I hope that I can have my bachelor at Ana G. Mendez because is Bilingual and that is going to help me. Any advice???
  4. Hello adoRNo2015: I went to Valencia College and I started Nursing 1. Right now I want to go to Turabo University at Metro Orlando. I know that is more expensive, but I'm going to have my BSN in less than 2 years. I find more easy to understand when they give you modules instead of books. I'm going to take the Spanish and English test next week, to start my classes in May. Can you tell me what is your experience in the nursing program. Thanks.
  5. SUNDREAMS26, I'm going to take the test the first week of October. I have almost 3 weeks to study everything. If you can tell me what to study because I'm studying the review book but I really not feel prepare yet. I already study math and reading. Now, I'm going to the vocabulary section. And for me this is one of the hardest parts. Any help????Thanks a lot. If you can send me any material just let me know to send you my email. Thanks a lot...
  6. SUNDREAMS26, Thanks a lot, and congratulations for your acceptance to the program. I'm studying every day like 4 hours. I just want to feel prepare to take this test. If you remember something about the test let me know I will appreciate it. Thanks, I'm so happy for you. Thanks a lot...
  7. Magda81, Thanks a lot for the hints. I'm just finishing and reviewing the Math section, the only thing that I don't understand very well is the measurement conversions. I just went to quizlet page to understand it better. That's the only part that I have to study more. If you can tell me something about this section I will appreciate it. Thanks a lot. Eve
  8. magda81, Thanks for the tips and the links. Right now, I'm not nervous about math is about my reading, grammar and vocabulary because English is my second language. It is true that the vocabulary part is with words from the health field...I'm so nervous about these topics. I hope you can help me. I know that I can't start the program in January because the deadline is in October and I don't feel prepare to take the Hesi. I really need your help if you can help me. Thanks a lot. Hey! how was the interview? Good luck, Eve
  9. Hello Magda81; Congratulations! I'm just curious about the Hesi test, I have the Hesi review book and I don't know if I have to study other books to pass the HESI. Can you help me please!!! Thanks a lot...Good luck in the interview...
  10. Congratulations ValDonovan, I hope you can find a job ASAP. I just bought the HESI review book and hopefully I'm going to take the test this month. I hope I can pass with 80% or more to enter to the LPN program. I already complete the pre reqs for the RN program at Valencia and I applied but they have a waiting list of almost 2 years. If you find any info of the HESI test let me know. Good luck in everything. God bless u!
  11. Hi everyone, I really need help. I just got my A.A. and my pre-reqs, for the Nursing Program at Valencia College. I received a letter telling me that I'm going to start the program in January 2013. Yes, I know more than a year waiting to start, that's crazy. Right know I went to TECO and they are not accepting the TEAS test that means I have to take the HESI. I would like to know if anybody took the HESI test and if its possible to let me know what material and questions are on the test. Thanks, EVE
