  1. I’ve being working on forming a study group. Everyone that I’ve spoken to from class has agreed to meet up before each exam. As far as my schedule is concerned, Tuesdays & Wednesdays are better for me to meet at the school. If I could remember correctly, Dr. K said that she would be there on Mondays to help us in the Skills Lab; if that’s the case, then I might choose to take Mondays off in order to take advantage of Dr. K’s help and expertise, and of course ,to spend some time studying with my esteemed colleagues (that would be you guys:bow:). Do you guys know if the campus offers a private study room that we could reserve?
  2. Sorry for not communicating until now. I just want to let everyone know how happy I'm w/ our classes so far! We are truly blessed to have the professors that we have! I also wanted to thank all of you guys for being so supportive, and I look forward to collaborate w/ all you for our upcoming exams! :grad:

  4. good morning. just in case you haven’t received your syllabus yet, this is the professor’s e-mail/info. office: homestead campus b217 phone: 305-237-5121 email: [email protected] i’ve heard so many good things about her, where so lucky to have her teach us!
  5. Thanks for all the info! As far as the syllabus – I guess we are just going to have to wait untill class begins. Also, when I passed by the Med Campus last Friday, they told me that the name tags are going to be shipped to the Homestead Campus, has anyone heard anything different?
  6. Thanks Laz, I have a few questions about the uniforms myself, any info that you can provide would be appreciated! I think that my biggest challenge is to find my 9w shoes. Does anybody know of a store (not a website) that I could find “hard –to- find” shoes? Or am I stuck purchasing them online because of my not –so common size?
  7. Hi everybody! I just want to let you guys know that I passed by the campus last week to check it out. First, since the campus is not too far from the Turnpike, the drive didn’t seem as bad as some students had mentioned. And as far as the parking; I think that as long as we arrive early, we should be alright. Also, I have been reading that some people have been wondering if there’s a Sturbucks around. I map quested the two Starbucks closest to our campus- I’m leaning more towards to the location on Palm Drive. I figured that because it is basically where the Turnpike ends, there will be more tourist stopping for gas, food etc., before going on that long drive to the keys (oops, “sorry for giving you guys a mental pic as to how far out there this place is!”), and more tourist = more police = safer area ( most of the time). And lastly , I know some of you have been asking about the syllabuses, I havn’t received mine, has anybody recived theres yet?
  8. hmm, i just remembered that this friday begins the sales tax holiday! so, that means that might choose hold off till then to visit the bookstore, but if anybody knows about the prior “book question” that i asked, please let me know.
  9. hi guys, if you are having your clinical at perdue hospital, here is some info that might be useful to you: perdue medical center, 19590 old cutler rd, miami, fl33157, phone: 786. 466.3500 and no, i haven’t received my syllabus either. does anyone know which books are absolutely essential and which ones we can hold off on, and/or do without? what i have so far is: the fundamentals package, physical exam, and the medical dosage books. any info would be greatly appreciated; i might be going to the book store tomorrow probably for the last time for this semester
  10. Welcome to this thread, and congrats in getting accepted!
  11. Are you going to be working durring that time?
  12. Happy Sunday everybody! I would think that this upcoming semester should not be too difficult (I was skimming through our F of N book, and it seemed pretty straight forward). If the other books/ materials that we are required to learn are as straight forward as the F of N book, we should be fine for the upcoming semester. In any case, I’m ready for anything! And, regardless of how easy or difficult the semester would be, my family has been forewarned that spending a Sunday w/ me might be considered a luxury during the next sixteen months. So let’s enjoy theses next three Sundays, it might be our last free ones! LOL
  13. Many of us would be attending the Perdue Hospital. I wonder, do you think they would allow you to switch?
  14. "Thanks" Lazgon for starting this thread! I'll try my best to meet you Monday. I probably would be able to make it ( I just have to turn- in the last of my paperwork at Medical before heading up there). ps, I am super excited as well:yeah:
  15. if i get all of my errands done on monday, i might be able to hang out at the campus for a while. and, i also think that it would be nice for all of us to meet at starbucks, while i get my daily coffee fix.lol. i just came back from vacation, so i need to get back in the rhythm of studying in one place for countless amounts of hours . see you all there !
