  1. Hi everyone, I have started to study based on the blueprint professor Thomas gave us and would like to compare notes with others. Two brains are better than one, well not always but in this case I think it is true. Anyhow, Please let me know if you want to meet in the library and compare. Thanks Laz
  2. Greetings, Well week one is under our belt. So far not so bad right? I know a lot of reading hopefully I can have it all done by Tuesday at least the Fundemental and Pharmacology. However I think is the assessment class that is going to be more difficult. Just a little rant from me. Venting!
  3. chapter 1.2.3.4 Week 1 chapter 4,9 week2
  4. Greetings and Salutations, Ok here is the 411 on the two questions I had about the uniform regarding classes and any pre-reading we should do. I spoke to Betsie Charles at the front desk of the nursing department at the Medical Campus and was told that to class you can wear regular clothing, for labs regular clothing with a lab coat on and for clinical the uniform provided by the MDC. Also, don't forget the name tag. Moreover, I e-mailed the professors Kathy Thomas and Flor de Maria Goldston about what attire to wear and the pre-reading they recommend. Will post information once I get a concrete answer form the professors.

  6. Hello, Does anyone know if we wear the uniforms everyday or just for clinical. I have been reading the school of nursing student handbook but not sure. Hopefully I can stop by the Medical Campus this week and meet with someone in the nursing department to get some many questions cleared up. Will post my the information I am given. See you in class fellow RN students.
  7. Hello my fellow Homesteadanians, I don't know if I should call you that but oh well, I am here and not to be downer but I just don't like the campus. If you come into building A which I think is the main entrance then walk through to the outside then buiding G is right in front and I believe all our classes will be there. Again, I don't like the campus it looks like an Elementary School to me. I won't let that take away from my excitment. We are starting Nursing School! Yayyy!
  8. Hi NeverGVUP I was just thinking that I should go by to get a feel for the Homestead Campus since I've never been there. I currently work at Kendall campus and it would be great to meet someone from the same program (we may even have same classes) to familiarize ourselves with the Campus. I think most of our classes our going to be in Buiding G. Anyways, Monday, Thursday and Fridays after 3pm are good for me. Also, I think I read in another thread about a Starbucks close to there posted by you I think that would be awesome if there was. Any how let me know about the dates. Super Excited!
  9. Hello All Homestead Generic full timers I have started a thread for just Homestead is probably in the first 5 pages somewhere in there so please let yourself be known. I think it would be cool to start introducing ourselves. Thanks

Also, to start chatting and getting to know each other before the start of class. Introductions, schedule comparison, changes, and new information to know. Just add yourself to the list and it will be great thanks. Lazaro
