  1. Honestly, I've had my shoes this whole time. They have a small logo. In truth, nobody really watched my shoes to make sure there were no logos. Unless you wear nursing shoes you'll have a logo.
  2. Whichever the bookstore is selling. :)
  3. You don't need the HESI books at all.
  4. Yes and don't forget the drug guide, lab and diagnostic tests book and the physical assessment book.
  5. The reason why I mentioned waiting is because you will not be buying ALL of the books on that list. For the first semester we bought the Perry and Potter textbook, Clinical skills, and the Castillo book which we used 2x and never again. The lab diagnostic book, drug guide, and fluids and electrolytes made easy book. We never used Tabers or the Pharm book with K. I never used the pharm book, spent $80, tried to resell it, and they wanted to give me $7 for it.
  6. They'll tell you during orientation.
  7. I use Nurse Mates. They're sneakers without the laces or Velcro. You slip them on and they're SO comfy. :)
  8. Only Dr. * for pharmacology.
  9. On my campus they wear both.
  10. Sorry. Forgot to add that the process took 15-20 minutes so you're looking at maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes total depending on the amount of people waiting. When I went this summer there were people waiting outside as well so don't be surprised by a little longer of a wait of you go around lunch time.
  11. I got confused with "figure printing". Lol. Finger printing took me about 1 hour. Get there before 2 because they close for lunch and you have to wait an hour to even sign in!!! Hope that helps. :)
