Hello there curious question. Did you just recently start in August for the RN program? I was accepted into the LPN-RN bridge program that starts in January, so I wonder if we would be joining your group. How has it been thus far?

My GPA is a 3.3 right now, but I just finished 2 classes that were pre reqs needed that I got A's in, so it should go up. The lady told me that they do not really look at your overral GPA, just the grades that you got in your pre reqs so for me I have an A in Micro, B's in A&P 141 & 142, A in English and an A in developmental pysch. For the LPN-RN bridge program she stated that I needed to shoot for an 80% on the TEAS to be considered even though the required grade is a 65%

I am applying to the LPN-RN program. I went to Riverside today. They told me that about only 5 students get accepted for the bridge program. I am super nervous. I will be taking my TEAS soon.

Do not do Medical Careers Institute!!!! It is way over charged and a lot of places will not hire graduates from MCI!!! There students do clinicals at my job and they all hate it and wish they didn't start that program. There LPN is like 15 months. I know there RN program is almost 50k if not more now. Look into maybe Thomas Nelson, I believe they have a program and New horizons does too but I know you have to have the whole tuition up front for them.

The waiting process sucks!!! They told me we would know mid to late Sept. My bday is Sept 24 and I am so scared of getting a denial letter for my bday!!!!

Don't let this get you down!!! If you want something bad enough you will get it just keep your head up!!!

I am sure that they would look at the college courses. Wy else would they want the transcripts? I hope they look at them!! I only had a 2.98 in high school, but my college courses are all high B's and A's!!! ONe course I had to take I was valedictorian!! I hate my high school transcript!! The wait and see process sucks!!!

They said that the minimul score that you can get was a 55.6, but thats what is said for the program average as well. This girl that I know that is in the RN program there now said that there are people in her class that had to take the test 2x so I don't really think that it matters what you got it is what your overall score is and how well you win the over with the other areas. This is really wierd but are yall on facebook lol?

I did have my interview today and I think it went pretty well. Good luck on your test tomorrow just be calm and take you time!! I was a wreck for my test too, but I had to get over myself and calm down and it helped. I asked how many people have applied and she said around 60-65 people. They take the top 30-35 applicants. She said some of the people did not pass teh test on the 2nd try so that narrowed the number down from 65 people. She said we should know if we are accepted mid to late september and that we will get a letter either way. My bday is sept 24 and I just hope I don't get a denial letter that day!!!! I do my interview on Monday!!! I am so worried about the whole process. I passed my TEAS, but not with a score that I wanted. I wish I knew what other people were scoring and how many people have applied to the program. There were 24 in the test with me the other day and a couple of them were taking the test for the 2nd time. That test was crucial!!!!!

I took my TEAS today. The science part was pretty crucial. Hopefully you will do great. I wish I knew more about the application process like how they pick the students. This whole process is driving me crazy, I just wish I knew the answer already!!!!

Yes I am a nursing assistant and I work for Mary Immaculate Hospital. I have been there for 6 years and I am going to work while in school. That would be great if he could get stationed near you.!!!

You are in Hawaii? I didn't know that. Are you moving here? I actually only scored a 60.7 I bombed the science part. I haven't had Chemistry since 10th grade so that was 10 years ago so that was really hard for me. I did great on the English and decent on the Math. I either did really really well on questions or so so or horrible so in the emd it balanced out for me. I wasn't happy with my score, but I was happy that I got a passing score. I think I am going to ask how many people applied. Did your sister have her interview yet? Definitely hope everything works out in our favor.

I took my exam today!!! It was crazy!!! I passed that's a great thing!!! I scored higher than the average program score on some things then on others I was right there!! I hope that it was good enough. Were there a lot of people taking the test when you took yours? There were 24 today, but some of them were taking the test for the second time because they didn't pass the first time. My science part was like nothing but chemistry!!!! I should be getting a phone call tomorrow to set up my interview. I am really excited about this whole process as well as nervous!!

Oh wow!!! Thats more applicants than I expected. I hope that your interview went well! I am still sooooo nervous! I want this more than anything!!! Hopefully we will get to meet each other in class!!!!

Thanks for the info on the test. I have a TEAS book, but I think that it is for the RN program. I am more worried about the Math and some of the science. I am not sure how many applicants they accept or how many have applied. I have tried to ask, but they can't give me that info I guess.

I have applied to the day program. How was the TEAS exam? I am really nervous about it. I hope I get accepted! I am tired of being a CNA!!!!

I have applied to the Janiary 2012. Lpn program. I have not been accepted yet. I take my TEAS on Aug 8. I have heard really great things about the program. I work with nurses who went to Riverside and they loved it.
