  1. Guess there aren't any cath lab nurses around huh?
  2. Hi everyone! I am newly qualified and eager to work as a nurse in the cardiac unit, especially the cath lab. Maybe someone knows how to improve my chances of working in such an environment from the start- and I mean apart from the books that I am ready to learn, what courses or post-grad qualifications (and where) would help me in this direction? I know its a tough job and very demanding but I really like it and I think Ive got what it takes to do it. I was the first in my class and the cardiac nurses loved me cuz I was very interested in their field. Until now I completed a basic life support course and waiting for my acls one. Please, any hint/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Thanks Rob72, these fields agree with me, totally... :)
