  1. Hi there, I am a newly graduated male nurse from UK. I've been doing my nursing in a nursing home near London for 1 month now and realized nursing homes are not for me. I got tired pretty soon of all the washing and showering and the peri care and oral care, the smells and carrying the bedpan from here to there and all the boring and "unchallenging" stuff thats happening in my nursing home. I really don't like this stuff no disrespect intended for all nurses that do it but its not for me. Are there any areas in nursing where nurses are not required to do all this stuff ? I have a friend in cath lab that says things are pretty different there, its fast and interesting and keeps you alert and challenges your skills and brain. Thats more like me. Unfortunately no vacancies in the area. So please , please give me some hints , i really need some advice! Thanks!
