  1. this right here. every time i have thought of changing my major/quitting school altogether, something in the back of my mind tells me not to. i don't know what it is, but i know i am supposed to be a nurse. i want it more than anything i've ever wanted. i love helping people and will almost always go out of my way to do so. i've wanted to be a nurse since i was a little girl. questioning one's feelings as to why they want to do something so great as being a nurse is kinda harsh. everyone has different reasons. they don't know why, they just do. :) i, myself, know i will be a nurse. i don't know why and i don't know how, but i just do.
  2. My pre-reqs are Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, English, Math, Microbiology, General Psychology, Microcomputer Applications, Speech, and an elective. I've already taken Anatomy 1, English, Speech, and General Pschology. I got a B in all of them except the General Psychology so I think I want to retake it and get a better grade which I got a C. I took the COMPASS and didn't do so well on the math part I took a beginner math and then I have to take my regular math. Mostly study your fractions and polynomials. At least that was the majority of problems on my COMPASS exam. Good luck with everything! :)
  3. My name is Crystal. I live in Alabama and am starting my second semester of school. Taking my prereqs for now. I took my TEAS in April, but I scored a 57% and it was not high enough to be accepted. I also failed some of my classes. My husband has chronic pancreatitis and ended up in the hospital so he was my priority for a while. However, I am starting at a new school to finish up my prereqs and I will be retaking my TEAS in October. I am studying extra hard for the TEAS this time. The math section was the part I did the worst on so I am studying A LOT on it. Anyway, I am hoping to be accepted to the Nursing program in the Spring. I've wanted to a Nurse since forever. I want it more than anything I've ever wanted. :) I love anything and everything to do with medical things so I am hoping I get accepted and that this semester goes well. :) P.S. The sticky posts on the TEAS test have been VERY helpful. The site http://www.brightstorm.com has been AWESOME. I love the videos so thank you very much for posting that!
  4. Congratulations!
