Aww well chem is hard ! That's why we're trying to do nursing and not pharmacy lol :) I'm wondering if my situation is gonna be different from yours since micro is listed as a pre nursing core class and your gen chem would've just been a pre-req for o-chem which is what is listed for the pre-nursing core . For those of you who got accepted: If u don't mind me asking .. would you be able to give is a ball park estimate on your teas acore and gpa for the core and last 60 . I just wanna see if I have a chance at getting in this January !! Thanks guys !!

Is it o-chem for the pre nursing core ? I applied late July and just sent in my teas 2 weeks ago. I'm hoping to hear from them soon!

Yay I'm so excited for you guys! @socalgirl.. So this chem lab is your last class you had left to take? did you just need the lab or the lecture as well? Reason I'm asking is I'm pretty much in the same situation but with my micro class!! When did you take your TEAs test and when did you apply? Thanks!!

I got an email confirming they recieved my TEAs score.. then they mentioned this "Dear applicant, this e-mail confirms receipt of your TEAS scores. We will add these scores to your file. If you have not done so already, please submit your Pre-Admission Advising application, pay your Pre-Admission Advising fee and send all official transcripts. Once we have received all required documents we will review your file and send you your Education Plan." I just wanted to make sure that they meant the application fee of $50 and the ABSN application itself right? Or did you guys have a separate fee to pay after you got your advising worksheet? I emailed them back, but of course I need to wait a week for an answer lol.

I heard back from Jay and you guys were right. I do need to include the entire semester! This sux cos I did horrible in an accounting class. I re-took it the following semester so I'm not sure if that replaces the grade or what. I emailed Jay.. so now its time to wait again lol. And yes I agree I REALLY REALLY hope that there aren't as many people applying this cohort either! I hope there's enough space for me by the time I'm done with my class in December!!

Wow I'm really hoping that they'll start getting back to me soon. I feel so far behind since I don't even have the pre-advising worksheet lol. I'm trying to calculate my gpa for the last 60 units. I was just counting backwards from all my classes I've taken since undergrad and then counting backwards for the classes I took from senior year-junior year to get the 60 units. I was wondering,once I get to my junior year I have about 5ish classes....On my transcript everything is just listed alphabetically by semester. Do I continue to the count the classes backwards or in that semester just choose the classes with the higher grades? (I really hope this makes sense.. I don't know how else to word it lol!)

yay!! I got the score I wanted for the TEAS! I'm pretty much avg with the cohorts now. Are you both avg or slightly below/higher? I don't want to have to re-take the test cos it was so stressful lol. I'd almost rather just re-take a whole class to boost my gpa if I don't make it for the Spring cohort. If you re-take the TEAS do you guys know if the questions are the same? I think I have to wait 30 days before I retake it anyways.

@repelayo .. is it the evaluation that would have your acceptance ?! Or the worksheet? I havnt gotten anything yet, but I'm assuming its cos I don't have the TEAs to them yet . @amyca .is that worksheet your talking about just for your classes to see what transferred and what you may need to take ? Thanks guys! If I do end up wanting to retake the TEAs do you suggest taking it within this same month or wait a few months in between? I just feel like if I wait I may forget everything, but if I do it a few weeks from now I'll probably have a melt down hahah! And as for me I got my undergrad in 2008. My degree was in Textile and Apparel Management.. pretty much a fancy term for a fashion degree Needless to say in order to get anywhere in that industry its about who you know. Most of my family is in the medical field so after I realized I didn't wanna work in the mall forever I ended up back in school!

happyhanks: I'm actually in the same situation as you were in about a year ago. I'm currently taking the microbio class, but won't have that final grade in until Dec. I was wondering what ever happened with your anatomy class and if you got into the program for Spring 2011? As soon as I get that last grade I'm planning on hand delivering it to Jay ASAP so that I could have some sort of chance of getting into the Spring 2012 cohort. Thanks! :)

Hey everyone! I'm taking the TEAs test this Friday and I'm freaking out! I've spent the last month studying for this thing. Any tips? I agree, after seeing the stats for this most recent cohort I feel like I have to do amazingly well on this test to get into the program! I applied late July with everything except for my TEAs and one last transcript. I should be able to send them my TEAs score next week, but unfortunately my last transcript won't get to them till Dec when I finish my last class. I'm so worried I won't make it for this Spring!
