  1. I heard they had 2 or 3 spots PNP spots for the fiscal year 2010. Each speciality is different depending on the needs on the AF
  2. I heard they only had 6 FNP positions for 2012 fiscal year. So it is highly competitive. Prior service is good but necessary. AS long you did well in undergrad Im sure you will be fine. You have to be admitted to a MSN program before you apply but the application process is LONG! you have to fill out the application, physical, and complete 2 interviews. just waiting for the results is the hardest part.
  3. Congrats! I am still awaiting to hear some good news. My recuiter told me that I would hear something back August 19. I hope it is sooner. Did you recuiter tell you how many people they selected in this board selection?
  4. I recently sent my packet for the board to review in JULY. I am applying for the Health Profession Scholarships (HPS) for FNP. Can you elborate on the process after you turn in your packet to your recuiter? I am wondering how long will it before I hear whether or not if I got selected. I am soooooo nervous. I heard it is HIGHLY competitive to get the scholarship with the AF. But my recuiter has faith I will be just fine. I am prior service (AF) and am a pretty decent student.
