  1. Actually I did have cash reserved, but I was not willing to blow half of it on a tummy tuck. Because I have such genourous friends and family, who through me a awesome party and gave me awesome cash gifts, I have the extra money. But as I said previously, I will be patient and wait until the timing is right. Thanks.
  2. Awesome LINEARTHINKER. You motivated me.
  3. TYVIN, I wish there was an alternative, but my issue is loose skin from the stretching of pregnancies, not really fat. I will just have some patience and wait until the timing is right. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for all of the info WHISPERA , sounds like a plan. I wish I would have had it done over the summer, but I didn't have the $ then. I start the job next week. I guess I will just have to wait.
  5. I am a new graduate nurse and I am starting my first RN job in a nursing home. I will basically being pushing a med cart. I have been wanting to have a tummy tuck for 10 years now. I had a consultation last week, but I have no idea of how I am going to pull this off? The surgeon says I will need 3 weeks to recover, but I will not be able to do any lifting or exercise for 4 weeks. I know I can't do this right away, but I don't want to wait too long. I need some suggestions. I know that I get two weeks paid vacation, but what about the other two weeks. I don't want to do anything to jeprodize my job, and I won't. I want to have the surgery before I switch to a more active RN position. Any suggestions??????????
  6. Roxborough gives you a Diploma of Nursing , while CCP gives you an ADN (Associates Degree in Nursing)
  7. College algebra 1, which is a much needed class for med calculations. If you plan on getting a BSN, you will eventually have to take Statistics also.
  8. Well my license was posted today 8 days later, relieved.
  9. I took the NCLEX RN on Thursday and received my unofficial results on Saturday day, I passed. But today is Tuesday and still nothing posted on the BON website. I called and they told me it could take from 2-30 days. My classmate's license was listed on the BON website two days after she passed. This is a crap of bologna! Irked :argue:
  10. Yes the trick does work and yes they do post results on Saturday. I got my results today and passed. I am so relieved. Thanks
  11. Hello everyone. I took my NCLEX RN on Thursday the 23rd and I tried the PV trick and I am getting the good old error message. I am going out of my mind. I checked PV 7:00 this morning and it stills says "results are not available." I have also been checking the Nursing board website. I'm in PA, so I know my state participates in quick results. Does anyone know if PV posts grades on Saturday? I am a nervous wreck :grn:
