  1. I was in a similar situation to you about 1 1/2 years ago. I finished my first year of my ADN program and became an LPN at a LTC facility. I had never worked as a CNA either. I agree with the other posters: listen to your CNAs they spend more time with the residents and know their routines better than you will. If they say something is not right they are probably right. Ask questions if you are unsure of something, even if you think it's a dumb question. And most of all relax...you will not be able to get everything done during your shift at first be ready to stay late to finish your charting. I have now received my RN and still work at a LTC facility and have become more comfortable in my role. Be ready to feel overwhelmed at first, but keep reminding yourself it will get better!
  2. I took my NCLEX-RN today as well. I don't know how many SATA I had, but the test seemed easier than my NCLEX-PN I took last year. I went to question 83 or so and thought I failed for sure. I got the "good pop up". I hope I really passed!
  3. It worked for me, I passed !!:)
  4. Hey Everyone, I took my NCLEX-PN Friday, June 17. I got cut off at 85 and left feeling like I didn't do so well. I knew my stuff, but some of these questions were just crazy. I tried the PVT and get the "good pop up". I can get my results in 6h, and I hope this is right! I actually am in school for my RN and if I fail I don't know if I even want to bother spending the money to take the PN test over again. I'll keep updated if the PVT works or not.
