  1. Thank you Mully! I will take your advice, it is very much appreciated!!
  2. I use to work nights (did so for 4 years), however, not at a hospital. But I really do recommend blackout curtains, or at least a blindfold until you can get them. I agree, ear plugs are a must as well! I always used my phone as an alarm so I put it on vibrate as well so if I couldn't hear it I would at least feel it. Try and get yourself in a routine, try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time. Hope this helps!
  3. Mully, I am applied for the ADN program and hopefully I will be starting in January. I currently took a CNA class and I was thinking of applying at Jackson Medical Care so I can work while in the program. Would it be best to apply now than to wait, I'm just thinking of any training that would interfere with classes & lab/clinical time. Any advice that you can give me would be great!! Thanks in advance!!
  4. CONGRATS MB!! I know a couple others that are going to be starting the same time you do! I am also excited because I feel like there is hope for me getting in, since my points will be around what theirs were. So happy for you! I can only imagine how you feel!:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:
  5. Thanks! Good luck to you too, I thought about looking at LCC since it's probably the next closest place to where I live. I am applying for both the RN and LPN program just in case, that way if I get into the LPN program it can just finish up the remaining classes in the LPN to RN. I'm praying I'll get into at least one of them! Thanks for the info on the HESI, I have the review book, I'll have to sit down with it when I'm finished with me class this semester. Again, good luck!!
  6. I am going to apply in the fall in hopes to start Winter 2012. I too am a little worried about my points, I am taking my last pre req class this spring/summer. You will have to let us know what you hear, I haven't taken the HESI A2 yet, how was it?
