I'm a little confused. What exactly is due on Monday for toolbox?

There aren't any required books for the toolbox class right? Also, random question. Does anyone know the rules on pregnancy within the program? Crazy question, but I need to find out.

Anyone know if the CARP test is the same as the ATI we need to pay for?

Toolbox starts Dec. 9th-15th. So I've decided it will be easier for me to buy the textbook bundle. Did they say we need to email someone about this? Anyone else doing the same thing?

Thanks Sunshine! So nice of you to help us out here. Would you suggest taking the toolbox class? Is it for both weeks prior to school? I feel like I am pretty quick at learning math, so I'm debating whether to spend the extra money on it... Also, for the CPR.. it would be smart to sign up for a class after Dec. 16th, right? And lastly, the ATI test we have to pay for, is that the same as the CARP test?

and that the second can't be any earlier than Dec. 16th. Anyone else understand it that way? My PCP will only do them 7 days apart exactly.

I called --- yesterday at ---- and left a message about problems registering. I tried again this morning and was finally able to register.

I am getting so anxious for school to start that I find myself wanting to start the studying! I know, crazy right? Just wondering where you all live and maybe we can start forming some groups. I also want to be sure I am doing everything I need to prepare for the semester. Anyone hear any good tips from previous semesters?

So all we need for next Friday is our receipt for the drug screening, copy of our DL, and to have read the online handbook right? I just finished the handbook and I won't lie, I skimmed through a lot of it!

Does anyone know about needing your CNA certificate before graduating? I am transferring mine from another state- do we need it by a certain date?

You totally should! If I wasn't keeping up with this forum, I'd have no idea when orientation was and my call would be innocent. Still is, but I just don't wanna bug them. Ya know tomorrow would be the perfect day to make calls.. Just sayin

I know, I only get super excited/nervous when I think about it! Haha, just gotta keep ourselves busy and hopefully get a surprise call this week! *crossing my fingers for everyone* Has anyone talked to the nursing dep. about how their progress is going? ha, it's worth a shot :)

Darn, I was hoping the call process would happen this week. Either way, we should know within a couple weeks. I got myself All worked up, but I guess I should chill out. And I've thought they've been 'in process' this whole time.

I am SO glad to hear orientation is on Nov 4th! I have had a trip planned to Hawaii for over a year now and we leave on the 5th!! Now I just have to worry about getting in. Hopefully I counted my points right at 29. That would be AWESOME if they started making calls on 10/13, I cant wait to just know already! Just think, you only need about 60 apps to have a lower score than you- thats nothin (positive thinking). If the cut off last year was at 28 with more apps, than I bet its more like 27 this year (positive thinking). Good luck everyone!!:anpom:

I plan on transferring my last NSC credits next week. Is there any trick to getting them evaluated asap? I will take it directly to the Cheyenne campus- but those people just seemed brainless last time I did this! Any advice?

I am taking micro this summer at NSC and hoping it will transfer in time for application. Class ends 8/8 and I know they have made it happen for others. I will have 29 points if the transfer happens on time. Any suggestions? I know they have taken over 2 months to eval my other transfer science classes (but those were out of state)
