  1. @Lana717Thank you , yes one person answered but maybe we could talk more about your experience during the program and now that you are done working in the field. My email is [email protected]
  2. Jamillah, thanks for your comments. Very helpful, I will look into clinical hours , that is true clinical hours may be spread out at MCPHS. I may like it better as it gives me exposure to the real world while studying instead of waiting whole year before being exposed to clinical, although it also has its constraints indeed. Are you attending Regis psychiatric NP Program now? How far along are you? Would love to continue to chat about your experience. Are you able to email me [email protected] to stay in touch Sarlah
  3. Did you ever get a response ? Unable to tell when you posted this question, I just applied for Spring 2022 , I am trying to talk to someone that has done this program at MCPHS.
  4. Hello I am thinking about joining army as a nurse also , I noticed that back in 2010 you guys were in the paperwork process, I was wandering if you guys could share regarding your experience so far in the army. Has it been what you expected? are you happy having made the decisions to go that route? are the physical trainings/drills durable to accomplish? What I am mostly worried about is to end up being on the front line as a nurse, I was told by the recruiter that it is pretty safe, that I would not be on the front line, wanted to confirm if that is true. thank you for your time guys
  5. Hi , I knwo that your post was since 2009 , not even sure if yous till come on to this site but figrued would still ask. Looks like you had an interview at MCPHS second bachelors? if thats correct , did you end up getting accepted? were they brief or asked lots of questions? I know that interview is not part of the applciation only few people have to do an interview , was hoping to get more info if you had to do the same
  6. Hi Meche, I know that you posted this message since 2005 , but noticed that you ahd an interview for the nursing program back then and same thing happened to me. Did dyou end up getting in? what kind of questions did they ask you? was it brief? i know that the application process doesnt require an interview , most people get in without having to do one. please , if you still come to this site , could you please give me any advise?
  7. Hi Kosmo , It sounded like you did not recieve your letter yet , i was wandering if finally you got one? Me , i still havent received one neither, makes me nervous that some people received theirs since end of may , i am starting to wonder if i havent received mine because i didnt get accepted (its a possibility i guess)
  8. Hello Dan, When did you received the decision letter? i applied for fall 2011 also and up to now i still havent gotten anything in the mail (i guess maybe i was not accepted specially if you say that orientation day is june 29th) . They had said originally that they would send decision letters during week of may 11th and up to now , nothing , i called but always get the voicemail.
  9. Hi Linds, I applied for fall 2011 and i got the decision letter telling me that i have been selected for an itnerview (i am def happy that it is an itnerview and nto a rejection letter) i assume that it means that i still have a chance. Crossing my fingers that i get in cause MCPHS is my first choice , i have heard a lot of great stuff about them , speciall the fact that they do such a great job preparing nurses for their first job , the fact that they have more hours of clinicals then most other programs drew my attention. My question to you is , have you or anyone you know had to attend an interview befor getting expected ? id idnt even know that they had an interview process
  10. Hey, sorry to hear you didnt find a job yet , why dont you check the nursing homes ? sometimes they are a bit easier to hire nurses (just out of school), there are tons of nursing homes, assited living etc. check them out
  11. Hello , Congrats to all of you that already got into the program. I applied for the fall 2011 accelerated program at the Worcester campus, just received my decision letter and got an interview , did anyone have to go to an interview before getting accepted? if so any feedback ?
