Hi there! Congratulations! Finally another student joining our class! Do you have a FB account? One of our classmates started a group.

There's 2 sessions: day and evening. I reserved a seat for the day just to get it over with. I was CPR certified back in May.

Oh wow! I missed a lot of posts! @smokey: I know what you mean about the white scrub pants. My uniform set arrived today... after ordering it almost a month ago. Still waiting on the nursing accessories kit. @sburnett: Do you have your schedule? I got mine on Monday. Any of you go to the orientation yesterday?

There's 4 options and you rank your top 3 choices for your lab and clinical days. The lecture is on Tuesday and Thursday... so it could be 3 or 4 days per week.

@sburnett: Have you completed the packet? For the physical exam, did you have the "additional tests" done (EBT, PFT, EKG, etc.)? Any recommendations for low-cost medical insurance? I feel like I have a million questions and I'm playing phone tag/email tag with the people there... trying to get this done before school starts. I can't even go to the orientation until Sept 6.

Nope. I just emailed my registration form now. I hope I get the 3 day schedule. Do you know if clinicals are really only 6 hours for the first quarter? I'm curious about the clinical sites. I don't know anything about the hospitals and medical centers there! What are you taking with fundamentals?

Yeah, I took both. I'm taking fundamentals and math. I'm not looking forward to taking another math class.

I was told that they accepted 20 and there are 40 accepted for each cohort. The classes I'm transferring are A&P, Microbiology, Psychology, and Sociology. Some classes didn't transfer because I took them more than 5 years ago.

I mailed it three and a half weeks ago. I called on the 7th and they told me that they would be sending me the acceptance letter and the admission packet. I received them both last Monday.

Northwestern is the only program I sent my application to in Chicago. I called them 2 weeks after submitting it and they offered me a spot for this Fall. How long ago did you submit yours? I hope you get in, too!

Are the classes completed in the sequence that is posted on their website? Where are their clinical sites? How many cohorts have graduated? Any students attending this Fall?

Hello all! Did any of you take the Compass Exam before applying to their program? Is it similar to the TEAS? I am hoping to be accepted this Fall. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! :)
