  1. Thanks 3KittiesRN! your reply was so informative. I'm sure I'm gonna be posting and asking questions here the more I'm getting into the floor.
  2. Anyone who can please tell me specific reference book for med/surg nursing and maybe the author? I'm gonna be starting my first job in this area and I want as much as possible be more "equipt" with useful knowledge. I think the knowledge that I had from school got "stucked-up" already in my brain. And also... what kind of other things that I should prepare. I'm just so excited thank you guys.

  4. You know what, I just got a call from the hospital that I have applied for in med/surg area as well and I got the same curiosity. I am so excited with this area and I cannot wait to step into it! TheMoonisMyLantern, thank you so much for sharing with us your experience. I'm so glad I joined this group social networking as if I have lots of nurse-friends already who are so ready to share and to teach us- new nurses. More power to you and to all of us here in allnurses! :redpinkhe
  5. Is there a better way of making a follow-up after an interview? and how often shall I do this or shall I do the follow-up at all? I have sent a 'thank you' card the day after I had an interview. Thank you.
  6. Yes. I think you just got to be honest and learn from your mistakes. Be more alert on what you are doing and don't give up if they'll turn you down. Goodluck!
  7. I always love your answers! thank u
  8. I think I gotta be careful on this one too... which ones shall I say as an example and which ones I shouldn't. Is there a rule in answering this question? It sounds tricky though. Thanks folks!
  9. For example a difficult physician/s? Or patient and/or family members?
  10. I like your answer, too, justashooter! thanks
  11. I really like your answer! thank u very much chicookie
  12. I am going to have my interview and I bet there will be questions like this. Can anyone advise? thanks.
