  1. RethaB123 - Last fall I applied to both the RN and LPN and was denied. I didn't even bother with LPN this time because I figured if I don't get the RN this time, I'm just not meant to be a nurse. Plus, I have a son going away to college next year and we can't afford to have two of us in college at the same time. Good luck to you though!
  2. received the 3rd denial letter. One more chance to be accepted. Come on Terre Haute, be my winning ticket!
  3. Brink317 - what was your score, if you don't mind me asking?
  4. I just got my denial letter from Lawrence for both the ASN and PN programs. I have 3 other places that I'm waiting to hear from so still keeping my fingers crossed!
  5. I've applied to Kokomo, Terre Haute, Bloomington and Indy (ASN programs) and have nothing from either of them. Getting very impatient, but what else can we do but sit and wait!
  6. I've already tried to get my vaccination records. My pediatrician passed away years ago and Marion County doesn't have a copy of my immunizations. Therefore, I either have to pay the money for a titer ($$$) or have all the shots given to me again ($$$). Either way, I'm looking at a fortune, no matter what route I go. I thought about the health department, but they no longer offer free or low cost shots to adults.
  7. I've gotten all A's in my prereq's, and a B in Math 136. I only got a 65 on my TEAS which puts me around 155......really stinks but we'll see. Sad thing is, I'm stuck with my TEAS score until 2/2013 since you can only take it twice in a two year timeframe.
  8. I wanted to get a thread going for those of us who have applied to the ASN program at Ivy Tech for the Spring 2012 semester. Where all did you apply to? Hopefully we can keep in conversation and update everyone on our status' i.e. whether we've heard any news. I applied to Kokomo, Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses. I originally applied in the fall but didn't make the cutoff. I made it into the LPN program, but that's not the route that I wanted to go. I can only hope that I make it into the program this spring. Sounds like we should hear something around September 30th. Keeing my fingers crossed!
  9. i received my letter from indy today and again another rejection! i got all a's in the rest of my classes, made the dean's list, but didn't do well on the teas test. i see now where that's getting me......nowhere! plus, i cannot take the teas test again until 3/2013 so i'm screwed, not to mentioned extremely discouraged! :( :smackingf congratulations to those of you that have made it into the program. i wish you all the luck in the world and just think soon, you'll have the rn after your name! jmm5416 - i applied for both rn and lpn.
  10. jmm5416 - if you don't mind me asking, what was your total score? I got my denial letter from bloomington, so just curious how far off I might have been.
