Annapr07 Yes, I've taken several online classes, but in my experience all depends on the teacher. I'm just a little nervous I want to do well in those class and ofcourse once WE are in the nursing program . This has been a long road and I can't believe, I'm finally getting closer to my goal

Hi Elove10 I haven't heard anything yet, but it seems that we have to wait for another 2 weeks!!Oh I really don't want to get my hopes up, since so many people applied & they're only accepting 40 students, hopefully is more than that.....well, let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

Hi annapr07 No I din't apply to UTEP, to be honest there aren't the most welcoming and helpful people, I didn't get a good impression, I have talked to other people that have talked over UTEP and felt the same way. how was the patho class and the experience taking it on-line? After this semester I'll be done with my pre-requesites, exept for intro Nursing and Patho. I've been trying to persuit this for a while and is very frustrating taking classes and more classes and going no where, also I want to finish somehting before I have to move again. I haven't heard anyhting yet....is taking too long!!

Hi annapr07 I don't have work experience either or volunteer hrs relating to Nursing, my GPA I think is 3.5. If I don't get accepted I think I'll apply for Health Informatics or something related to the medical field. If I get in I'll be taking Intro to nursing and Patho this summer, what about you?

hi redraidi applied for the traditional bsn in el paso feb 01. i read all the comments about all the people that have been accepted from the rest texas tech campuses but i haven't heard anything yet from el paso program:sniff: , i don't know if is different??i hope to find out soon, the acceptance to this program is to determine the fact if i should keep perusing nursing or transition into something else. i bet you are very exciting and proud in getting closer to finish the program!!

Hello everyone, I need some help. My family will be moving to El Paso this Summer 2011,I've been looking for nursing programs and I found ECC, Texas Tech and El paso U. I have taken several pre-nursing classes in other community colleges. I don't know if anyone can give me an idea in how the RN programs work in the above schools. I just don't want to waste a lot of time in waiting and waiting to rank and take more classes. Seems that ECC is kind of discouraging when you try to get some info about their program.. I really DISLIKE that... I appreciate any feedback....
