I was told that the turn around can be from anywhere from 7-14 days after you graduate. Depending on how long it takes the BON to process it all. Luckily for you since you do graduate later then most Texas grads maybe yours will be quicker then most of ours since those graduating this weekend and next will be all processed around the same time.

Yeah you probably never heard anything back because they are pretty loyal to the UT Tyler students and the TJC students. East Texas isn't bad I've enjoyed it here. The price of living is just quite cheaper then Houston and Dallas so the pay of nurses' isn't what you will see in the big cities but that is to be expected. However, there is nothing to do here but go out to eat and go to church haha thats why I'm excited to be moving back home to Houston.

I go to The University of Texas at Tyler and I love it. But miss my family and my hometown so I'm moving back home. There are a lot of options out there its just hard because all the big cities aren't hiring many.

Oh wow. Yeah Houston is my hometown too. I also go to school not in Houston and am working in Houston after I graduate. I was just wondering because you said your worked as a nurse tech. Glad to know I'm not the only one that worked as a nurse tech in another city from where I went to school haha.

Congrats Miss Pamela!! Thats awesome, the job market in the big cities are just drenched right now with new grads its such a shame. Good luck to everyone still looking for a job, I have quite a few classmates that are still waiting on interviews and calls from various hospitals.
