Congratulations Leemar on getting engaged! Wow I go on vacation for a week and this board explodes! Guess I should have been reading while gone because boy did it take me awhile to read all of these posts. Sully-I also received the same August 22nd contract info from Richard C. I have also not gotten anything in the mail yet and am getting very antsy! I can't wait to hear SOMETHING...... Isn't this just so frustrating! I wonder if we will just end up with big deposits at some point and get mailed later. If August 22nd comes and goes with nothing I will get VERY concerned. Good Luck everyone!

I am saying prayers nightly for all of us. This is just such a horrible process! I can't wait til it's over. Maybe this week we will all get our emails!

I agree anyone who has had contact with a rep is good to go in my opinion! My rep is going out of town so he said he had to get his work done early. I am not sure it covers all the loans because the amount that he told me would be deposited seemed lower to me. I dont know if it is taxes or we did not get awarded for all our loans. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!! P.s. This couldn't have come at a better time as I just found out I am pregnant with baby number # 3. I think that is why the rep took pity on us. We were freaking out about finances and he could tell!

I was surprised too! He said he was going on vacation this week and needs to clear off his desk. He did not say when letters would arrive.

If you reply to the email they sent you it will go to the person who is dealing with your.case. Try it! I would give you his name but I don't want to **** him off.

We got HUGE news! I emailed my contact at hrsa and asked if he had any news yet for us.... He said congratulations and that our contract starts August 22nd! He even gave us the total of how much we would get deposited. YAY!!!!!! Now we just have to wait to get the letter that makes it official!

Holy cow I don't check this for a day and three pages go by! Very interesting to hear about the fact that we might get emails instead of letters. Hmmmmm I am very confused yet again. Sara 186 gold team. :)

Mine came to my regular inbox. In previous years years they did it in waves and I remember some people were still gettinb emails in Sept. So I still think there is lots of time. My husband has debt ratio of 186% maybe they are doing it according to ratio. Who knows, I am just happy something is happening! This wait has been horrible! The email is noms guarantee but it sure is a good start.

Yeah I noticed the color things too. My email was gold team. I wonder if it is grouped by state/region? Mine was sent at 3:57 pm. Sorry, since it is actually Tim who is the RN I don't know how to do the military time thing! I was so excited to get the email because after the HRSA guy telling me not to bother looking for email I did not expect it! I wonder how long before we know for sure! Just got off the phone with HRSA yet again. After having a pity party with him he said let me try to help. He asked for the last 4 of social and started looking things up in the computer. He said they have no record at all! I had a heart attack and then he said he looked in the wrong program. He asked what program we had applied for and when I told him he said the typical "unfortunately I can't get into that portion". I thought I was getting somewhere!!!!!!!! He did say all applicants will be notified at the same time through postal mail and by September 30th. UGH!!!!!!!

So I got some info from Sallie today. I called to ask about putting our loans in defferment(sp). I don't know if thats is advisable so if anyone knows please let me know! The man I spoke with at Sallie Mae stated thats they get contracts stating HRSA.'s intent to pay off loans. Hey claimed noms contracts have gone through at all yet. For anybody. He said that this is quite late for them. Either he knows what he is talking about or he is just sick of talking to us. Lol!

No thats not the name of the company that checked my report. Although, quite a few of us got some random mortgage company along with the credit check. Did yo u check all three? It. only showed on one of them for me. I have given up on hearing anytime soon I just can't continue to worry about it. I hate this!

Although they do have direct deposit info from your employer and we did sign saying release of information from employer. That could be something. Who knows:(

The references that you used when originally applying for a student loan. It is. So weird that they (Sallie Mae) are asking for information from them now. I don't get it. Anybody else???

Has anyone had letters sent to the references listed on their loans asking to confirm address, phone numbers and emails? Sallie Mae sent this letter to 3 separate references to confirm we who we say we are. I think it is very weird because we have had constant contact with them so I don't know why they are requesting this info. Anyone else have this going on? Thought I'd check to see if maybe it has something to do with this....
