  1. I havent heard anything back either. I called them an hour ago and they said all decisions will be out by Friday. Why is it taking so long?!
  2. hey everyone, I got my acceptance letter today! I am still not sure if I will be attending there or not. Its a bit expensive but I did not get into the nursing schools by my house so this is my only option. I have to talk to my dad to see what loans I can get. Hopefully it will all work out.
  3. Yes I was leaning more towards the beach area as well. My friend lives in a house one block from the beach with two other roomates and they each pay $350 a month which is very reasonable since I love the beach! I am not even going to look until I know I have been accepted because I do not want to get my hopes up.
  4. I live in south Miami. I was looking at apartments around the campus but when I went up there they weren't as nice as they looked online. I heard that the nicer apartments are more towards the beach and around UNF. So if I get in I'll look around those areas.
  5. I had no idea UNF had a Grad program. I would like to go to UM for grad school or something out of state. I guess I have plenty of time to make my decision. I agree that June is so far. That gives me just one and half months to look for an apartment and move up there. It will be extremely stressful for me since I live 6 hours away.
  6. Really? Thats great! Where do you plan on going to grad school? And yes, I've also heard that they have accepted students with 2.9 GPAs and not others who have 3.8 GPAs. That makes me a little nervous since I was hoping my GPA would get me in. I just wish we didn't have to wait until June.
  7. No, I was just planning on getting my AA then BSN then eventually my masters to become a CRNA. What is the boards? It is turning out harder than I expected. I spoke to someone before my interview and they said that since the economy is down, a lot of people are in search of a new and stable job, which is nursing. They said the amount of people who applied is a lot larger than the previous years.
  8. Okay I will. No I didn't apply there. I looked it up but all I could find was a program for the ASN. Is that the only program they offer? I just finished my AA in prenursing so that would be a waste of two years if I were to go get my ASN :-/
  9. I am a transfer student. I called them and they said they are accepting 55 students total. I am not sure how many are transfer and how many are second degree. I think I will call on Monday to check.
  10. Hey everyone! I just took the interview yesterday. I was a bit nervous about it. They did my interview different, it was two applicants and then two woman interviewing and asking us the questions. They were both writing a lot during the interview so it was a bit distracting. After the interview I realized I was "talking with my hands" a lot and I am not sure if that was good, but my mom said it showed that I was excited. I also read in previous forums that grades are not important to them, its the interviews. I am soooo nervous about it. I wish the best of luck to everyone!
