  1. Hey guys! I have been accepted into the FNP program at Houston Location this summer. I am so curious as well as nervous. Just wondering if anybody is going for the same program this summer. Also for the current student, can someone give me an idea of the textbooks for Patho and Theory. Based on my research so far I am thinking of starting with these two courses and feel that its wise to plan ahead. Your input will be appreciated.
  2. Wow I finally got a completion email from the group mentor:lol2:. Looks great so far. Will schedule my AAV today with my mentor. Am hoping that it keeps going smoothly. Goodluck everyone
  3. Thank u Tarro-RN, I think am relaxed now.
  4. Thanks Tarro-RN I sent my 20 hour study schedule in the afternoon and recieved an email saying it was great and that assignment will be marked completed. Was that talking of the whole EWB or just the 20 hour study schedule.
  5. Hi how did you know when you completed your EWB? Did you send the group mentor an email or is it automated to alert them when you are done?. Mu progress bar is showing 100% when I think I completed but nothing to prove it. Your response will be highly appreciated
  6. Thanks silverdragon102 Am just new at this website so dnt no much on how to use it. I already called the state BON and asked for their requirements and they told me I will need to submit cgfns credential evaluation. They also said that the TOEFL will not be needed if my nursing education was in english language. The problem now is that cgfns said they will not evaluate my transcript unless I take the TOEFL which should be necessary for those applying for licensure by exam and not by endorsement.
  7. Hi everyone. I am currently having a problem now and needs help. I am a foriegn graduate and passed my NCLEX-RN with california. I applied for endorsement inGA, and after 4months, GA said they will not give me a license. they said that they have a law that says all foriegn trained nurses must pass through a 4yr nursing institution b4 they will issue a license but my own case was 3yrs. I am actually considering VA and MI at this time bcs I dnt have any other choice with GA, and my question is this: does Virginia or MIchigan require u to pass TOEFL b4 dey can endorse ur license if u are a foriegn nurse. I hav seen that they need CGFNS evaluation. Any help from anybody will be appreciated. Thanks
  8. yes I hv downloaded and filled the application. Do I need to submit a verification of employment to GA since I graduated more than 4yrs ago ie Nov 2006.I find out that it is one of their requirements

  10. Thanks Jamesc. I am kind of disturbed right now bcos I graduated in Nov 06, but was working with my foreign license till 2009 Dec before moving here March last yr. Do you know if they will accept an experience outside US? Your help is highly appreciated.
