  1. missmarbe, Congrats on graduating!! Have you taken your NCLEX yet? How is the job search going for you? I'm praying just to make it through med-surg1. Any tips? Thanks!
  2. amber430, I'm currently attending MCI for the RN program. I think it is definitely worth it. I am half way through the program, and all I can say is that it is possible to complete in 16 months (day classes) IF you don't fail any mods. When you fail a mod you have to wait at least 3 months till the next cycle of classes begin. It's expensive, but if you're trying to get from point A to point B in as less time as possible, it works out.
  3. I currently an RN student at MCI. It's expensive but worth it. This program is only 16 months long. As far as transferring goes, the nursing classes won't transfer, but that's common for any nursing school. It's only an Associates degree, but you can transfer to a rn-bsn program after you are done. You've already completed pre nursing classes, those will transfer as well. I think this is a good option if you're pressed for time.
  4. I graduate this year in October. My 2 main goals are pass the NCLEX and land a job. After that I want to go to on a real vacation to Versaille, France and tour the palace :)
  5. There was about 24 chapters that we went through, but I don't think we did every single chapter. And some chapters were really short, she only picked out the main concept. It is tough, but Mrs. B taught us shortcuts and really does a good job of making it simple to understand. I don't remember the exact title if the book, but it covers basic chem, bio chem and organic chem. Be prepared to memorize about 30 elements from the periodic table.
  6. I was in Mrs. B's day Chem class last mod. I'm so excited!
  7. I've been lurking, but I thought I would just congratulate everyone on getting accepted!! I got accepted into the days program so I'll be seeing some of you there
