Mount Saint Mary's ABSN FALL 2011
I got my rejection letter in the mail yesterday....I was shocked, since all the other school I applied to had contacted me for interviews, and I also wasn't expecting to hear anything until May!

Azusa Pacific University 2011/2012 Applicants
I found out yesterday that I was not accepted into the program. They only accept 20, and like mentioned above, there is no waitlist unless you are already accpeted and want to start sooner. So if you're not the top 20 applicants, you're not getting in. It seems like a weird system to me... Big congrats to those top 20 though!

Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011
StephRN2be....Thanks so much for the info!!! That was very helpful :) To those already accepted for the accelerated, anyone mind sharing their stats? GPA/sci GPA and volunteer/work experience? I think it would help the rest of us get a feel for where we stand!

Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011
StephRN2be and EmEmJay, thanks for the info. Are you an undergrad, or going for a second bachelors? I guess that would clear up my confusion, since I was under the impression that there is only the accelerated program for college graduates?

Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011
Hi StephRN2B! I think Nessa123 on this page is also a traditional transfer? I believe the main difference about finding out is that the accelerated students are receiving emails in batches while the other students are having packets mailed to their homes...that's where I was starting to get confused!

Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011
I was told by the same person who said she was out of town that a batch of notifications would be going out at the end of this week...but who knows! Just a suggestion: I think it is getting a bit confussing with all the different admissions groups on here. The traditional and transfer program students may want to consider making a seperate thread for thier groups. Just to be clear, who in the second bachelor AccBSN program has gotten a notification?? Good luck this week everyone!

Do you mind telling me what the date is that the deposits are due? Then I can hopefully get an idea of when I may be hearing from them!

Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011
I called yesterday and could not get an answer regarding my application status. (I applied for the AccBSN program- priority decision.) I got a few different answers from the different people I was transfered to, but my understanding is that another batch is going out at the end of this week. (I'm guessing Friday, since that's when it went out last time?) I guess the lady who is in charge of the nursing apps is out until next week, so I wouldn't expect to get an answer by calling before then. For those who were already accepted, did it come to your personal email? Good luck everyone and congrats to those who are already in!

Concordia University Irvine Accelerated BSN Summer 2011
Hi Everyone! I just found this forum and I wish I had known about it a lot sooner! I too am waitlisted and hoping to hear something soon...It is soooo nerve racking! Big congrats to everyone who got into the program and I really hope I will be able to join you all. Anyone else on the waitlist hear anything yet? Or anyone accepted that doesn't plan on attending? SandyMickey- If I remember correctly Concordia doesn't request TEAS exam scores. However, I took it for another program and it really isn't something stress about. (Especially if English is your first language.) Congrats again to everyone who's been excepted!
