  1. I am in my first semester in CRNA school and I borrowed 45k for each semester. I took out the basic loans as well as grad plus and alternative loans. I have 2 kids and they let me have more money because of that. Your schoo(financial aid office)l should know all this.
  2. What does the fist part of your reply mean? I don't know your answer to the tuition other than I know I'm paying 43000 total for the program.
  3. MatthewRN To the nurse anesthesia program? How do you like FHCHS? Do you think its a good school? Why did you go there?
  4. I feel you. I had the same experience. I worked in a cardiothoracic icu for 2.5 yrs and got burned out from working too hard and all of the other "stuff" of being a nurse. I swithced to interventional radiology for a break and the schedule (7a-330). I recently applied and was accpeted to CRNA school...ready for the challenge.
  5. 3.6 GPA BSN 990 GRE CCRN 3 yrs CVICU Most important two things are experience and interview! You have to show them that you are more than "numbers"
  6. 3 min per french, unless coagulopathies
  7. Read "Martin's" Cardiac anesthesiology book. It will give you a great baseline of knowledge to start your CVICU experience. I have worked in a CVICU for the last 3 years and wish I had of read it as soon as I started. You can find it on amazon.
  8. Anyone planning on attending FHCHS this next year?
