Hey girl. Ya I got my acceptance letter from FAMU I believe in early March. I messaged you on FB about orientation, for undergraduate ( not nursing). So let me know if you have done one or not!! =]

Girl I got a 58!!!! lol For UNF they only take your first test!! After the test I was like never again!! lol I knew that it was bad!! lol I have very low hope of getting into UNF!! LOL I am hoping that my medical experience will help me getting into one of the other schools! I am a medical assistant, went through school and all so ya... I am just so nervous about what date orientation will be!! cause I am supposed to be in Myrtle Beach, but if I cant go I cant go... I got your message.. I friend requested you, my name is Ashley. Florida Hospital College (the one I am talking about) is not online. You have to work at the hospital first and then they pay for you to go to nursing school while you work there, in the end when you graduate you just have to work for them for 2 years. I do not think thats a bad deal cause a lot of places want experienced nurses. My BFs cousin was just hired as a nurse and she graduated from nursing school like a year ago I believe.. so yea... Man I hope we get in!!

oh your GPA is really good!! I think with the two A's mine will be around a 3.3....? IDK I slacked off my first year, sooo ya.. lol I was going to apply to UCF but you had to take the TEAS test by Feb. and I did not take it till about a week ago. I never want to take that test again.. lol I studied forever for it and half of the quesetions I was like umm I think I learned this in 7th grade and have no idea.. lol.. If I do not get in my grandmother lives in Davenport and knows a lot of nurses at Florida Hospital so I might try to get into their nursing program as well! Are you staying down there if you do not get in, or do you plan on just moving here?

I will def. let you know when I find out! I think I am going to call again today to see if I can get ahold of someone! I actually just moved up here from south Florida 4 months ago and I just finished my chem classes at TCC. I am not sure what my GPA is now because I got an A in Chem lecture and lab, so I will have to wait till grades are posted! How about yours? I did not get into FSU so I am just hoping that I get in either at FAMU, TCC, or UNF. We will see!! Are you transferring from somewhere else?

I have applied to TCC nursing for Fall 2011 as well! I took the Hesi ( it was easy) so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get in! I also applied to FAMU, UNF and I did not get into FSU. So we will see! I am very excited and anxious and I hope I get in at least one!!! How did everyone do on the Hesi?

Hey everyone I am new to this site as well! I am also applying to FAMU for Fall 2011. I just finished my chemistry 1031 and Lab today. I got an A in both of them!! YAY! I actually called FAMU but had to leave a message because I wanted to know if there is orientation for the nursing program itself when you are accepted. I am scheduled to be in Myrtle Beach from Aug. 19-25 so I am kinda worried that orientation will be around then! =X. I am sending in my application next week. I have everything done accept my photo. If anyone knows if there is orientation and what date I would greatly appreciated it! Good luck to everyone!!!! =]

You all are so lucky! I got an 85 on the hesi and I am looking around a 130 for points. I really hope I get in! I applied to FSU but did not get in. I know they are now taking freshman and they took their GPA's from high school. All I can do is cross my fingers! I took the hesi over again and scored an 87 but unfortuantely got a 72 on vocab so they cannot use it! Good luck to everyone!!
