Hello. May I please know if you were required by CGFNS to submit a copy of your College Nursing Diploma? It would take a little while for my school to release diplomas. So I don't know if I should go on already with the CGFNS application without my nursing diploma yet. Thank you, thank you for any response :)

Hello. The last reply to this thread was several months ago. I hope the issue has been resolved. I'm not sure if my question is related to the topic, but please, anybody, help... I would like to apply for CGFN-CES service. I need to know if they would require my Nursing College Diploma??? Because if they do, I would request it from my school first (takes time) before I apply for CGFN-CES... Any help/info would be very much appreciated :)

Hello. A state BON I want to apply to requires a course by course credentials review. CGFN has 2 kinds of CES report: 1) Professional Report — This report meets the specific requirements of individual state boards of nursing, incorporating their requirements templates and including a statement of comparability of an applicant’s education when measured against U.S. standards. 2) Academic Report — This report is designed to meet the needs of applicants pursuing further education in U.S. institutions of higher learning. I am confused as to which of the two should I apply for (I am a foreign grad). Please help me. Thank you very much, Geraldine

What you said makes sense. Yes, I've read that CGFN reports can be requested to be sent to another state. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I am now most confident on how to go about the process. Thanks a lot, I wish you the best :)

I sincerely appreciate the reply silverdragon102. I was hoping I could apply for a generic CGFN-CES and just decide later, while the CES is being processed, to have the CES transferred to a specific state. Thanks so much for your help.

Hello. Please help me with this. A State BON requires CGFN-CES, my question is: Should I start processing my application to that State (send payment, etc.) and then apply for CGFN-CES? Or I should start with CGFN-CES application (so that the 1 year given by State BON to complete application won't commence yet) and after a few weeks start the State BON application?
