  1. I am in my last semester. As long as I pass my exit exam, I should be finishing up in 4 weeks If you plan on using your phone (android, etc), you don't really need the Tabers Encyclopedia. I looked everything up online or from my other textbooks.
  2. Hi all! Congratulations on getting accepted into the program!!! It's going to be a very intense but exciting year for you! The first semester is really tough but as long as you find a good group to work with and good study habits - you will be just fine. I recommend doing tons of questions. Some students would buy a second book called Review & Rationales for Med-Surg/Fundamentals/etc, which is actually very useful as it really breaks down each chapter/disease and includes NCLEX style questions. Do NOT waste your money on the Curriculum. Everyone will tell you that you have to buy it. However, I never bought it and have yet to need it. Also, you can buy your white scrub pants and lab coat from any location. Only the MDC scrub shirt needs to be purchased at the bookstore. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try my best to answer them. Good luck! =)
