  1. I wish I could help you, mine just went though. I would try e-mailing Chie and see if she can help or direct you to someone who can.
  2. I did most of my pre-reqs during my first college experience, but I did take a few at BC, all online though. I just wanted to let you all know that I was just able to successfully log into the BC system and pay my deposit for the nursing program. Yay!!! It feels real now :) Also registered for a weekend CNA class starting next week. Not fun, but at least it will be over with quickly enough.
  3. Hi! I'm in Sammamish. I'm guessing they haven't updated the system quite yet, I'm going to give a few days before I start bugging the nursing dept. I'm relived it's not just me :)
  4. Have you guys logged in and paid the deposit yet? I just tried to do it and got an error message.
  5. Hi Ladies! I am also in for fall. What a relief! Most of my pre-reqs were expired everywhere except BC. I am 32 with 3 young kids, and live on the east side. Have you all finished the cna course already? I have to figure that out asap. I found a couple of weekend programs and I think I'm just going to sign up for one that starts soon and get it out of the way. Looking forward to meeting everyone - orientation is just around the corner!
  6. Nothing in the mail again
  7. Yeah nothing in the mail here either. That whole early April thing was bogus! I am also probably not going to be able to swing taking the CNA class at BC. I'm looking for a weekend program and found one in Burien. Does anyone know of any other weekend ones?
  8. Bandaide do you remember how long the BC course is and what the hours were?
  9. Thanks for the info. It looks like there are several programs in the area where you can do evenings or weekends. It's a little less time than I was thinking too. Phew! Got the mail, nothing...
  10. Is anyone registered for the CNA course at BC? Do you know the schedule? Of course it doesn't say on the web site.
  11. Ack! Thanks for the clarification. Just what I need.
  12. Still waiting! Just wanted to point out that it now says on the nursing dept. website that obtaining the WA CNA before starting the program is no longer required "but strongly recommended." That is a change from what they were saying at the info session I attended last spring.
  13. The waiting is killing me here.. you guys will post when you get your letters, right? That way I can stop being paranoid that mine got lost in the mail :)
  14. I guess this is where the confusion sets in! I didn't even realize they were accepting version 4 until I read this thread. It seems like comparing percentiles would be the only fair way to do it, but what do I know... From reading other threads on this board it sounds like the avg scores for version 5 are about 10 points lower than version 4, so it would be really unfair to compare them side by side.
  15. So are they comparing the 2 versions straight by score, or by percentile?
  16. Thank you so much! I guess that's why the department can't really give solid answers :)
  17. Thanks for sharing Bandaide! Very helpful info. Would you mind sharing your general schedule? How many clinicals per week, and what the hours are like, if you don't mind? I tried asking the nursing dept but they would only give me really vague answers.
  18. I'm glad I found this thread. The waiting is killing me! I thought I read early April so I've been checking my mail like a crazy person every day. Also glad to hear that they are taking the different TEAS versions into account.
