  1. I got my letter - I'm #88 on the waitlist. Since the program only accepts a total of 88 students total (44 each semester), my chances of getting in are pretty slim. At least I got into my second choice though...
  2. You can do it! Try taking bio 3 with sociology or english, or just one science class each semester + an easy class. It's manageable with good time management. I really recommend you at least sign up for either bio or chem now because it is extremely difficult to get classes these days; once the new budget cuts go into effect it will be impossible to get them in the semester you want.
  3. I suggest you take Bio 3 and Chem 51 first, they are pre-reqs to the 3 core science classes: anatomy, physiology and microbiology. Also, nursing programs even in community colleges are extremely competitive. Do you utmost to get A's in those 3 classes. B's in other pre-reqs such as eng, psych are fine but focus on the sciences. But remember, a high gpa in your core classes AND overall gpa is extremely important. Wish you the best!
