Hi. Heres a question that kips on bothering me. I hope u guys can enlighten me. I am a nurse here in the Philippines and I have a tourist visa. I am planning to take my NCLEX in the US. My question is, will i be affected with the retrogression law? If so, when will it be lifted? Whats my best option and whats the best thing to do? I heard that its easier to work things out if you have a Visa, How true?

hi.. this is one of the few visits i hav... and im concerned about my cousins case which is pretty much like the tread posted above... i will not reprhase it again, coz its pretty much like it... : the concern goes like this: hi suzanne, please advice me on what to do. i am presently here in the us under a tourist visa. i passed the nclex for new jersey and completed all my english exams and visascreen. problem is, i don't have a social security number. the contact person told me to write a letter to the nj board, enclosing photocopies of my passport and visa, certifying that i am a foreigner, then wait whether, the board's judgement whether my license will be released or not. i have only 4 months of stay left here in the us. my question is, what happens if they don't release my license? if at all, do i have any alternatives? is there a way out of the fix that i am currently in? thanks very much pls refer to the tread above who originally sent it... thanks a lot for ur help...i know god will guide u and shower u with blessing a thousand fold... more power... :rotfl:
