  1. Hello! I have applied to MGH as well. I am living in NY now, so I would be making the move for this program. I found the same information in terms of tuition, im not sure why that is but if I dont get into MGH I will most deff. be applying to UMASS. It seems like you have a good background! I have a BS and am currently a Microbiologist.. I have some experience volunteering in the ER back in college. You definitely dont need a PCA/CNA certification to get in, I was enrolled in an accelerated nursing program here in NY this past spring, but due to personal issues I am relocating. Im not sure about the 10 year mark, my suggestion would to be call them- ive been speaking with the admissions office and they are extremely helpful! So now we play the waiting game! Good luck :)
  2. I got in!!!!!!!! :) Kinda weird though- I didnt receive any letters or acceptance packages yet all I got was an email from an advisor asking if I had any questions! Then again, I am out of town for the weekend and maybe my boyfriend at home missed it ... but yippieeee!!!!!!! Cannot wait to start I am SO excited! Good luck to everyone else!!
  3. Ive been calling admissions once a week! haha They told me this week that my application was in final committee review and I should have an answer within 3 weeks!! They keep pushing back when I will have an answer so I am hoping we hear by Thanksgiving
  4. Thanks Gina- and good luck to you too! I hope we hear soon
  5. Yaz- last I heard they were reviewing mine in mid October. When did you apply? And how did you get that type of information?! lol
  6. Has anyone been accepted to the Spring 2013 CDP that was not on the waiting list? I emailed admissions this week and they said decisions would be made mid to late October. I was told decisions would be late September at first, so I knew they would push it back! But I am just wondering how many students are already accepted so I can see how my chances are! Thanks
  7. Hello all! I just contacted admissions they said they should have decisions by the beginning of October! I am so anxious!
  8. Ginamarie119- I ran into the sampe problem. My status says "processed" but all of my documents are not in as of yet. I spoke with them last week because I was getting concerned and they said as long as I had the application in before the deadline and all the supporting documents are dated before then I would be fine. They also said they were "experiencing a higher than normal influx of applications" so it would take longer to update the system. I sent a copy of the unofficial transcripts on friday. They said they would accept that until they receive the hard copies. I was annoying them so bad but I was concerned, I want in for the spring! lol So they said they would have decisions by the end of September.. so good luck!
  9. That is usually how it goes, you can only check once you have your application in.. so I got mine in first for that reason
  10. Hello! I am applying to the Spring 2013 program. Just getting the last of the documents in this week and then its the waiting game. I am also applying to PACE. I like how theses two schools have the dual ABSN and Masters programs as that is what I would like to do
  11. Hey Everyone, I am in the process of applying to the accelerated program at Concorida College in NY for 2012 and was wondering what everyone thought of the program overall? Anything would help! Thanks :)
