  1. The averages vary so much depending on your State its impossible to give a figure, there are a few websites where you can see average salaries, but to be honest it all depends on the specific location you work at and the type of place you work, you might get $10 an hour, while your friend who works 2 miles away gets $12... looking around for the best paying places, and being prepared to move to them, is probably the way to get the best salary in your particular area. If you want to look at some averages here's a couple of places that might help... http://www.cnatrainingandcertification.com/cna-salary/ http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Certified_Nurse_Assistant_%28CNA%29/Hourly_Rate
  2. If the skills are the problem then all you can do is practice and practice, but make sure you dont use up every last hour the day before the test, otherwise you'll go to bed at 4am and not be in any good state to either take or pass the practical. I find repetition of the task again and again and again is the only way to feel comfortable about it in a test, you end up having practiced it so much that when the test comes its second nature and you can do it without much thinking (but still with sweaty palms!) Good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine :)
  3. I was looking for a similar list of courses late last year for Texas, it can be a pain finding the information, I dont know why there is not an official central list that everyone can refer to, I did at least find this which seems to cover most areas, not sure how accurate the info is but it might help someone... CNA Classes | CNA Training And Certification Hopefully that helps somebody, but as others say its not easy to know which course is legit or which are a problem, there are a few people I know who got caught out on a bad course so always do your research.
